Cibolo Steele isn't in the DFW (Metroplex) area.....They are in Region IV and close to San Antonio (I believe).

That post is an instant classic...Thanks, I really enjoyed reading it!

Cross town rivals and all of the players know each other well so this will be an interesting game.  The key to this game is how much pressure Guyer gets on Ryan's QB Scotty Young.  That kid can flat out throw the ball (committed to Texas Tech).  If he has time to sit back in the pocket this game will come down to who scores last.  Guyer is scary because they are great on all 3 levels of defense.  I've seen both of these teams play and Guyer is the better team overall.  Should be a great game! Guyer is the favorite and should win by at least 17, but I wouldn't be surprised if this game was closer. 

Godley has a solid team.... By the way....Denton Guyer and Denton Ryan play tonight on Fox Sports Southwest

From my understanding, Angleton is going Div II with the outside chance of going Div I.....Lake Travis will meet up with Denton Guyer or Longview for the title, but I personally think it will be Guyer.  I've seen them both play and Denton Guyer has a stout defense!  They are strong on all 3 levels...

I'd love the chance to meet up with Angleton

In my experience, most teams bring up their underclassmen during the playoffs.

Injuries have depleted their team in several areas. Playing a ton of soph's. The best part about that is, those young guys have played at "game speed" for several weeks now. Their QB is legit and can beat you with his arm or his legs. (Needs to cut way down on the int's) WR's are good, with some speed in #82 who has really stepped it up the last few games. Not sure how their running game is now, I think the starter was hurt several weeks ago. (May be ready by game time) They lost probably their beat defensive player for the season to elbow surgery. But based on how well they played Crosby, their "D" can hold their own. I do not think the first game was a "fluke" for either team. I would expect this one (if it happens) to be in the same vicinity.
