You're right every ones entitled to a bad game. I don't think Everman had one. They just ran into an offense they couldn't contain. I was at the game and Everman looked very strong during the 1st quarter, a little less in the second and by the third they new it was over. But I guess you think they just happened to have their "bad game" in the semi's just like the year before right? And no, you couldn't of beaten Everman or Heath for that matter. Well McAdoo (Evermans QB) was hurt in the 2nd and 3rd quarters. So they werent at 100% of their offense. Take away the qb run threat, then it sure makes it easier to defend against. McAdoo was a decent passing QB as well....I'm 100% on his stats, but he threw around 1400 yards, 19 TD's with only 4 or 5 interceptions....

I see this more in school districts that have 5 or more high schools

If it came across like I was saying the other players didn't play a part I apologize..... Both teams deserve the credit for getting this far regardless of stats, records, schedules, etc...and for anyone to diminish such an accomplishment really doesn't understand what it takes to play for a state title...Congrats to both teams and good luck this weekend!!!!!

I've heard that Steve Freeman from Brownwood is retiring although there's a rumor flying around that he might join Briles staff at Baylor....I tell you a great coach on that list is former Joshua coach Phil Shaffer....He's really done a great job of turning that program around and he got the raw end of the deal with the administration at JISD

If you look.... #4 has 2000 rushing yards.... WOW.. More than any Bronco... You're right about being without Tyrik, we wouldn't have made it outta the second round.... Where is dayton without #7.... I think SS would still be playing this week without #4....Young is good, but TR does a great job of opening up the ground game.

I just think that you guys keep talking about defense and I think that the game will be a good one - I know I have posted some ridiculous scores and stuff but I am confident that our receivers will have to work for the TD. IO am just saying that you guys have some speed but it seems (by the posts on here) that people are relying on a couple of key players instead of the whole team. That is what I am getting at. Heck....Sulphur Springs relies on one player and one player only!!! TR is that good and without him SS wouldn't be playing this week Before anyone from SS gets all riled up, please know that I'm not dogging any of the SS athletes.....I just don't think SS gets past the 2nd Round without TR

Is that Everman with or without there starting QB ? ;D he was out for one quarter and the second string was faster and ran harder anyway...where were you going with this? so why is he second string? Because he played first string free safety (that is a defensive posistion) That's not the reason he wasn't the starting QB!!! Come on man....There isn't a coach alive that would pull a stunt like that i wasn't saying the coach pulled a stunt - and you are right he wasn't the starting QB because he was the starting FS - which is why he ran faster and harder. (FS train different than QB) duh !!! So, are you trying to tell everyone that the only reason he didn't start at QB was because he was needed more as a FS? Do you really believe that?? If so, please go to the nearest book store or amazon.com to purchase the book below......Oh, By the way, Thanks for the training lesson..... Can't I just borrow your copy? Come on...You can do better than that!!!
