Not sure how the tiebreakers will work, but there’s a 3 way tie and it doesn’t matter who swept who as long as one team did not sweep both of the others. They have not announced as of yet if it will be played out or decided another way.

I was there. Hillin wasn’t “escorted off the field.” Was there a Buna ISD officer there, yes, but just to make sure he left the field after the ejection. It’s normal procedure when things like that happen. Hillin left immediately after he was ejected without issue.

I think it’s time for a different way to count the kids. The state knows exactly how many kids are in each school because they send “x” amount of dollars per kid, per day to the school districts. So, by knowing how much money is sent to the school districts you would know how many kids they have in attendance.

I thought it would’ve been yesterday or today. We’ve known these numbers when the were reported a while back, but I guess this is the “official” numbers from the UIL

That’s for district realignment. Cutoff numbers should be out very soon.

Probably 530 if I had to guess. That’s how lucky OF gets with every realignment for the last 8 years. I can usually tell you what the cutoff for 3A will be according to whatever number OF reports. It’s usually 1-3 kids above their number. 😂

Anahuac MIGHT have half of their starters underclassmen. I know for sure 3/4 of Buna’s starters were freshman and Sophomores.

Hardin won’t be good next year

I challenge you to find another program in southeast Texas that had as many underclassman starters as Buna had.

No they don’t. Most of the kids who were on JV this season will be on JV next season as well. Buna played 22 sophomores and 2 freshman this season. They will return something around 17/22 starters. They were very young g this season.

Great season for BC. No co district champs. BC is the district champ.

I’m thinking about 525 for 3A. It would make sense with a lot of schools down kids this time around.

Hardin wins both of the next 2 games by 3 or more scores. They’ll be undefeated going into the playoffs.
