I too believe it has outlived itself these days. But in 2007 I witnessed LH beat the ever loving snot out of Gilmer with it. They never threw a pass the whole game. Probably the only State game ever played where a team never attempted a pass.

This..........is the attitude that got Newton beat. Newton was better than Arp. The best team........don't always win.

I've seen it too many times over the years. Arp was a very god defensive team and I told them on that thread they better not let Arp hang around. All I kept getting was Newton by 3tds+. Now I never expected Arp to really win it but I thought they could hang. Congratulations to my buddy Coach Dale Irwin and the boys. Hard fought win. Good job
