It's odd the different ways folks look at this. We have been trashed for years for running up the score when in all truthfulness it was always the second and third strings that were just getting a chance to play. Friday night against Melissa we had 1st down and goal on the 1 yard line with 3 minutes to go and a 55-6 lead. Coach Turner called timeout and called the kids over. We ended up kneeling 4 plays in a row and actually gave Melissa the ball back with a minute to go. Evidently the Melissa coach appreciated it because they kneeled the last 2 plays to run out the clock. So the last 3 minutes of the game where 6 plays and all kneel downs.

Yep, could you imagine that game played in front of a packed house in ATT instead of SFA. Now back to the game at hand. Just listened to the S2S playoff show. Those guys are picking the Buckeyes by 3 to 4 TD's. Y'all hammer on Grant and Terry......I don't see it.

It was a great game........ the kind of game that you love to win........but you truly hate it for the other team.

EF didn't get to 12-0 for no reason. They also have some history. Their kids won't be intimidated and I don't see a blowout. With that said....... Newton will be a very tough out.

We do like to play there........but I can recall 2 of our most crushing defeats there also. In 2003 we were undefeated and were absolutely crushed by a 9-4 Atlanta and in 2005 we were beaten in what at the time, was the 3rd highest scoring game in Texas history, by Canton 61-58. A game that if we had played 100 times we would have won 99. It can and does happen. But......yes we like Earl Campbell field!!!

It would suck to be the Jasper fans who have to stay home and run the stadium while their team is playing in another town.
