Cantore keeps stressing we will have major problems at the Port Arthur sea wall. He said there are still people in Galveston and "if they don't leave we will be pulling their bodies out when it's all over."

Rita was a Cat 3 with 120 MPH winds at landfall and we all know what that storm did. They are predicting Ike to be a Cat 3 or 4 at landfall with 120-140 MPH winds.

Just heard Cantore say that as well. I guess it's too late for an organized evacuation? I'm starting to get a bad feeling about this. There are going to be people still on the coast when this thing hits.

So will we have classes until noon or will just administration be there until noon?
