  1. Remember that 4 teams now go to the playoffs in 4A.....
  2. Just a few times. I'd say they ran about 98% of the time
  3. Why do I need more help? Because your team isn't as high as you think they should be? It's the 1st rankings of the year. They will change every week and teams will move up and others will move down. Not everyone's team can be #1. Why don't you come up with a poll and show us what you would have done different....
  4. It's that stadium right off green avenue as you are heading into downtown orange from west orange. Old Stark High School stadium
  5. It probably was moved back because they played monday. The Penny Record today says they play friday in Shepherd? Did it get moved from BC to Shepherd?
  6. So this means the BC scrimmage will have to be moved from thursday to saturday as well
  7. That's how we have always done it. I usually do the football polls, we usually have 1 moderator who handles baseball and does that poll and the same with basketball.
  8. I heard they were holding a jamboree type scrimmage but haven't heard when, where and the teams involved
  9. Read page 11 of the scrimmages thread [Hidden Content]
  10. I think the Orange Leader preview should be out this Sunday
  11. Lumberton vs Bridge City: Lumberton: Defense is very strong. They were in the BC backfield all morning long. BC only had 2 or 3 big plays and that was it. The secondary may be suspect though as BC had a few dropped passes were the receiver was wide open. Offensively they looked ok with the running game. Broke a few long runs here and there. Passing game was a little off but it's early so that should come around. Lumberton Score: Offense- C+ Defense- B Bridge City: 1st thing is that the defense is MUCH improved over last year. They were swarming to the ball and wrapping up. One thing that may get them is that the linebackers were lining up 2-3 yards off the line of scrimmage the whole time. Lumberton could have eaten them up with play action passes. The offense needs a lot of work, but once again it's early. Just about all of their offense resulted in a loss or a gain of just a few yards. They had a few long passes but that was it. QB draws and HB draws didn't work. Bridge City Score: Offense- D Defense- B-
  12. With BC and Lumberton now playing on monday will the BC/Shepherd scrimmage have to be moved from Thursday to Saturday?
  13. It's at BC tomorrow morning. I believe the freshmen and jv are combining at 9am and the varsity will follow that at around 10am
