Go through Dayton and hit 1960 like your going to Humble. The town before the Bridge into Atascocita is Huffman(Dated a girl in College from there ;D). There will be a sighn that says Hargrave Falcon stadium. You will take a right by a gas station if your going toward humble. ETBU can explain better, he lives there.
I think that is the directions to the old stadium. The new stadium is at the high school [Hidden Content] -

We have another Huckabay on the way up who is in 7th grade. ;D We saw drastic improvement this year over the last few years and coach Huckabay only had a month to put a staff together and get everything going before practice started. I've heard his offseason program is a killer and I think next year, after having a full season of his system and a full offseason with him, that we will be a lot better than we were this year. We lose some very quality players from this team but we also have a very good core group coming back. We will only get better.... -

Cards can earn berth with win at Hamshire Gabriel Pruett The Orange Leader HAMSHIRE — This is uncharted waters for the latest Bridge City Cardinals’ teams. The Cardinals (6-3, 2-2) simply need to defeat the winless Hamshire-Fannett Longhorns tonight at Longhorns Stadium to clinch the third playoff spot out of District 21-3A. “We don’t have nerves but we are anxious to get it going†Bridge City coach Cris Stump said. “Lets play the game. It feels really good to have this season go as it has. We have a marker board in the fieldhouse and I wrote on it for the seniors the other day, ‘0-10’ and ‘4-4.’ Beside that I wrote ‘7-3 and playoffs’ with a question mark. It is right there for them. You can’t ask for anything more than for it to be in our hands. “The whole school is excited with the cross country team in the regionals and the volleyball team in the area round.†The Cardinals are coming off an emotional 31-30 victory over the Orangefield Bobcats in overtime. Josh Lemoine scored a touchdown in overtime and Matt Menard converted a two-point play to seal the victory. Menard continues to lead District 21-3A with 941 yards rushing with 10 touchdowns while Lemoine has thrown for 725 yards with 11 touchdowns. Cameron Dishon leads the team with 16 grabs for 301 yards and seven scores while Luke Rhodes has 13 receptions and one touchdown. Cale Hyde and Menard each have 11 catches. Dishon has a team-high 12 total touchdowns. “Matt is closing in on that 1,000 mark,†Stump said. “Josh is getting closer to that mark in passing. We have not played on a dry field since the Kelly game so it has been a little difficult to throw the football.†Stump is trying to make sure his Cardinals do not overlook the 0-9 0-4 Longhorns. Hamshire-Fannett ranks last in both team offense and defense in the district. The Longhorns average 187.8 yards on offense and give up 378.6 yards a contest. Longhorns’ running back Austin Simmons has 574 yards and four touchdowns on 86 carries this year. Quarterback Myles Johnson has 326 rushing and a score and has passed for 251 yards and three touchdowns. “I am sure Hamshire-Fannett has thought about throwing a wrench into our plans,†Stump said. “They will be focused on winning the game too. We are going to go out there and try to spoil that for them.†Bridge City is +15 in the turnover ratio department this season while Hamshire-Fannett is -25.

Vidor can seal spot with win over Lions

Vidor can seal spot with win over Lions Gabriel Pruett The Orange Leader VIDOR — So Vidor’s season has come down to this. The Pirates (6-3, 3-3) control their own playoff destiny and can clinch the team’s first playoff berth with a win tonight at Pirates Stadium against the Livingston Lions. The Lions hold a 4-2-1 lead in the all-time series with the Lions getting a 31-6 victory in the first game between the two schools in 1948. Livingston defeated Vidor 42-35 last year. “This is what you play for right here,†Vidor coach Jeff Mathews said. “If you would have asked the question, I would have told 10 ten weeks ago if we were playing to get in the playoffs on the final week I would have said lets do it.†The Pirates put themselves in this position by losing last week to Nederland 22-20. If Vidor would have won that game, the Pirates would already be in the playoffs. “We are in a situation where we control our own destiny,†Mathews said. “We win and we are in. That is a lot better situation than where we were a year ago. What matters now is the team in front of us.†The Lions team standing in front of the Pirates is a formidable Lions team which is also clinging to playoff hopes. The Lions are in with a win over the Pirates and a Lumberton loss to Nederland. Livingston comes into tonight’s game with the third-best offense in District 20-4A while averaging 319.4 yards a contest. Livingston running back Quinton Jackson is the second leading runner in the district with 1,345 yards and 17 touchdowns. PN-G’s Caleb Harmon leads all 20-4A rushers with 1,464 yards and 15 scores. “Jackson is simply phenomenal,†Mathews said. “We are going to try to contain him which will not be an easy task.†The Pirates defense comes into the game third in the district with an average of 265.4 yards given up a game. Vidor’s offense has been especially potent this season, averaging 384.7 a game which is first in the district. Livingston is next to last in total defense, allowing 326.2 a game. Senior running back Shayne Pitman leads the Pirates with 1,261 yards and 14 touchdowns while Kevin Tate ha 845 yards and 11 touchdowns. Jacob Peevey, who has missed some time over the last few weeks, has 520 yards and five scores. Jacob Travis has filled in nicely with 111 yards on 11 carries with three trips to the endzone. “We are looking for Peevey to play on defense this week and maybe some on offense,†Mathews said. “Both Jakes are certainly going to help against Livingston. We feel we have four good running backs. Of course the Lions will try to take Shayne out of the game. We feel we are well-rounded football team and the try field could help a little bit. I have not had to give too many motivational speeches this week. I look for our guys to play hard. It is a little nerve-wracking but this is what you play the game for.†-
Playoff-bound WO-S faces stern Bobcat test Van Wade The Orange Leader ORANGEFIELD — For West Orange-Stark, it’s all about fine-tuning and staying healthy as the playoffs come calling next week. For the much-improved Orangefield Bobcats, it’s about putting an exclamation point to round out their season. The two teams collide tonight at Orangefield High School to wrap up the District 21-3A season. The Mustangs (7-2, 3-1) are heading for the playoffs for the sixth straight season under Dan hooks while the Bobcats (4-5, 1-3) look to close the season with an upset and to grab some momentum heading into next season under first-year coach Brian Huckabay. “It should be a good ball game,†said Hooks. “Huck (Huckabay) has done such an excellent job with the Orangefield program. They’ve improved tremendously and can flat-out score some points with that offense they’re running.†“Our kids are looking forward to playing West Orange,†said Bobcat first-year head coach Brian Huckabay. “West Orange has such a tremendous history and the kids are really wanting to compete well. I know its a big game for our seniors. I’ve got a senior (Corey Huckabay) playing tonight and I know how special a feeling it is for the parents. We’ve been sticking to our gameplan and treating WO-S just like any opponent. They have a lot of skill people you need to watch for.†The Mustangs are coming off a 29-10 win over Hardin-Jefferson last week while the Bobcats dropped a tough 31-30 overtime decision to rival Bridge City. “I know last week had to be a frustrating deal for Orangefield,†said Hooks. “They had Bridge City down 23-0. Give the Cardinals credit for coming back. Orangefield is not going to lay down for us. One thing about those kids over there, they’re going to get after it for four quarters. Coach Huckabay will have them ready. I know they want to finish their season strong and win over us would make their day.†The Bobcats check in averaging 372.9 yards a game, almost twice as much as they put up during their 1-8 campaign a year ago. “The kids have accomplished quite a lot this year and I’m proud of them,†said Huckabay. “Sure, we fell short of some of our goals after dropping a couple tough games in district but they remain strong in practice. Our seniors should be proud of what they’ve accomplished this year. One thing for certain, the kids will show up and play hard Friday night just like they’ve done all year.†Senior quarterback Corey Huckabay is certainly the engineer. He’s rushed for 868 yards and 12 touchdowns and has passed for 366 yards and three TDs in the run-heavy offensive machine. He has a slew of backs to aid the cause such as Evan Guidry (539 yards, eight TDs), Derrick Evans (437 yards, four TDs), Quinton Evans (317 yards, eight TDs), Chase Parker (299 yards, two TDs) and Josh Shores (237 yards, one TD). “The Huckabay kid makes that whole thing go,†said Hooks. “They have several good backs. The Evans kid is a really tremendous athlete. It’s hard to find the ball sometimes with what they like to do. Their offensive line is impressive. I really like that No. 76, that (Ethan) Cowart kid. He’s not someone you would like to line up against all night.†The Bobcats will face a Mustang defense that leads the whole Golden Triangle. WO-S allows just a mere 189.8 yards a contest. The Mustangs have found their groove on offense in recent weeks. WO-S, which is averaging 289.9 yards a game, piled up 399 yards in the win over the Hawks last week. Quarterback Reggie Garrett has passed for 967 yards and nine TDs and has rushed for 273 yards and eight TDs. Mark Roberts leads all receivers with 25 catches for 445 yards and three TDs while Justin Francis has 16 grabs for 206 yards and a TD. Running back Darius Mitchell has played well the last few weeks and had 84 yards on 14 carries against H-J. WO-S will face a Bobcat defense that is allowing 297 yards per game. The Mustangs will either play Coldspring or Shepherd in the Class 3A Region III bidistrict playoffs next week.

WO-S at OF Predictions?
Bobcatfan4life replied to Bobcatfan4life's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
Orangefiled don't have alot to play for this week. If the playoffs were still up for grabs I would expect a close game, but now I'm leaning towards a blowout. Similar to the Silsbee game.
I think OF has plenty to play for. It's senior night, a shot at a .500 record and a shot to be the first OF team to ever beat the Mustangs. I promise these guys want to end the year with a bang and they will give it everything they have Friday night -
