[Hidden Content] Eligibility for Athletic Contests are less than 19 years old on September 1 preceding the contest or have been granted eligibility based on a disability that delayed their education by at least one year, live with their parents inside the school district attendance zone their first year of attendance (see your school administrator for exceptions), have not moved or changed schools for athletic purposes, have not violated the athletic amateur rule, and were eligible according to the fifteen day rule and the residence rule prior to district certification. 10. The 4 that will get interviews have been announced.... From KOGT.com "Orangefield Will Announce on Monday The list of 21 is down to four with Troy Bolton, Brian Huckaby, Josh Rankin, and Dwayne Dubois getting interviews this week. Bolton and Huckaby are still the favorites in my opinion but we’ve witnessed heavy favorites fall off the bargaining table for one reason or another before so Dubois and Rankin still have a good opportunity to wear the Orange next season. The good news is I think any one of them would do a job. Huckaby is the only one of the four with head football and A.D. experience. He also has two acquaintances on the selection committee. Bolton was once an assistant coach at Orangefield and left on good terms. Rankin is an LCM graduate and spent last season on the Haltom High School staff as the defensive coordinator. Haltom is a 5A school just north of Fort Worth. Dubois is from Bridge City and has worked in BC and is currently the offensive coordinator at Vidor. An announcement is expected on June 22."
  11. Those 5 I posted aren't neccasarily the ones they are interviewing. Those were just my top five candidates that I posted since Long withdrew. I left Phillips off since word is they aren't considering him...I also believe Bass may be the new OL coach at WOS if he doesn't get the OF job

  14. After this last season I'm not sure what BC will have coming back. But I don't believe BC was a senior laden team. I believe they will have quite a few coming back. If someone knows how many players will be coming back please post. Also, I am hearing some players may be moving away from BC now that school is out. I don't know if this is a rumor or not. Bridge City returns 10 total starters, 5 on offense and 5 on defense. BC will have a solid backfield with Lemoine at QB and Menard at RB. Also look for Caleb Kellogg to have a solid season at WR
  15. The '90 helmet was the custom one right? What did the '89 helmet look like?
  16. Does Coach Faircloth have a helmet made up like what they will use this year and if so does anyone have a picture of it? I'd like to get a pic sent to the texas helmet project to get the 2009 helmet made for the helmet forum.
  17. What kind of offense does Long run and does anyone know what offense Huckaby ran at Pewitt?
  18. Believe me I've replayed those last few minutes of that game thousands of times in my head. Tied 14-14 we have the ball 1st down at around their 9 yard line with around 2:00 left if I remember right. Run the ball three times to run the clock down and if you don't score then kick a chip shot field goal to win the game. Instead we throw an interception and the next play they break off a huge run deep into our territory and run out the clock and kick the game winner.
