Last night the Red Sox's completed the season 11-0. Searching archives for another team to do this in last 40 years. Braves defeated the Mets in earlier action. Tonight closes the regular season for Sr. Babe Ruth. Of course we always go first to the many families that played Babe Ruth baseball in the past 40 years. Our former players that are now 30 and 40 years old will remember when they were put up at this age from all parts of the country. It's your time to return as host parents, so when you get that call remember that. A big thanks go out to our concession crew, umpires and of course the Nederland ISD for the field.

Last night Ryan Carline (LCM) threw a gem as the Red Sox stayed un-defeated and locked up the League Championship. Rangers had a few calls go against them today, they lost the series to the Mets. Ron Washington had already been tossed in todays game and with the Rangers bench chirping the umpires gave Mets Mgr Terry Collins his choice who will be tossed in the dugout. He chose Elvis Andrus, but Andrus was sitting out due to a wrist injury. Class act.
