Want to wish all the players the best of luck in the playoffs this weekend and that goal to bring a state championship to our area.    Tryouts went well last night. Our next date is scheduled for this Sunday 2PM at Nederland High School. If you made last night's tryout you are exempt from Sunday's.   Of course you will be exempt if your high school team advances to the next round this weekend.   All new players will be drafted Sunday night, you will be receiving a call probably Monday. Our plan is start our season next Wednesday, so each team will have at least one game next week.

Those not familiar with Mid County Babe Ruth.     * All new players will tryout, be drafted on one of our 8 teams.   * We start the week following Nederland's completion of their season    * Mon-Thurs games at Nederland: 2 games per week.   After we complete the season, we choose 18 players for a tournament team. This year's World Series is being held in the state of Washington. Babe Ruth pays for the flight and housing if we make it.   Our fee is $125.00 for the whole year.
