We are halfway through the season. Thanks to all the players and umpires who make the league a success.   Some dates to put on the calendar:   After the season is complete, the league will choose a 16 yr old and 17-18 yr old tournament team. Both these teams will compete July 4-5-6 in a tournament at Lamar University.   July 17-22 Mid County Sr Babe Ruth will host the Babe Ruth Southwest Regional. The 17-18 tournament team will participate in this one.   If Mid County Sr Babe Ruth wins the Southwest Regional, they will qualify for Babe Ruth World Series in Ephrata, WA during the week of Aug 7-14. That will be expense paid flight and housing for the team.   Let's have a great finish to the season.     Tonight we have   5:30    Pirates vs Mets 7:45    Red Sox vs Angels
