THE best out of Westbrook has to be Luke Jackson but Sneed is pushing him!  I think THE best out of your school has to be Thadeous Holden.  THE best out of TJ has do be Darious Hayes.. THE best out of Memorial has to be Jacovin Brown.   THE best out of Ozen is Perk.
Best out of TJ was Brannon Hayes. I think you confused him with Darious Brannon who played for Lincoln about same time. You really think Stephen Jackson was better in HS than McElroy and BJ Tyler and Anthony Allen???? I just looked up that Lincoln has 23 players who were all-state from 1973 to 2001!!!!! Yes Jackson has had a better career, but McElroy was the best HS player IMO. But I didnt see all the others since some were before my time. Same with Keena Young and Perkins @ Ozen. Young was the better HS player.
Stephen Jackson was not the best to come outta the HIVE, I have seen BJ, Mac, Red(Anthony Allen), Leonard Allen, Kelvin McKyer, ect. They say a guy by the name of Earl "The Pearl Evans was the best to ever don a Bees Uniform, played both NBA and CBA, and was ranked 2nd in the nation only to Moses Malone, who went to the pros after HS.....That I've seen either BJ or Mac....
No disrespect to the other great players but Earl Evans was in a different league as a high school player. I seen him play as an 8th grader and he was the most dominate player in this area imo. Your jaw would drop if we had youtube back in the 70's.
 3. As Phatmack mention in prior post, Mid County Sr Babe Ruth (16-18) 2010 season will start after Nederland's season has ended. We hope that will be in June. When district starts we will have sign up sheets in concession stand for all the visiting teams. Get your spot early as we have room for only 124 players and they go fast. I will be merging our old webstite  [Hidden Content] with our new site [Hidden Content] Have a great high school season and we look forward to another great summer.
 4. Well, it's finally here. Weather doesn't look good, but who cares. Give us a report on how the day goes Friday.
 5. Who at PNG could start with no varsity experience?
 6.
LCM fans You have lots of big shoes to fill after losing all of those Seniors last year.  Which young guys step up and help the Bears get into the playoffs in 2010?
Since many LCM players played Babe Ruth in Mid County last summer I look for 2 guys to make a contribution who will probably make their debut on varsity, Ryan Waddell and Alec Blem.
 7. Looks like Nolan Ryan and a group will be buying the Rangers.

 10.
Just to clarify on the subject of the velocities:  Keving Angelle 96 mph, Jaden Dillon 96 mph, Matt Hicks 94 mph, Forrest Zock 90 mph, Chase Angelle 87 mph, Wes Bingham 91 mph, James Swan 88 mph, just to name a few, recorded these numbers using a crow hop drill.  These numbers are not fabricated and they were used using a jugs radar gun.  Off the mound, you subtract an average of about 2-4 mph.  Our philospophy about pitching and throwing is rhythm, tempo, and momentum.  We feel that if you are going to throw hard, you have to organize your body to throw hard, by the intent of your drills.  I welcome anyone to visit our academy and witness our program first hand.  What you will see is a proper wake up/warm up (15 min), active stretching (5 min), core training (20 min), and the goal of the day (velocity, command, movement, velo/command, strengh/speed, etc) 60 min.  Our main purpose is to make sure our arms are ready and developed to take on the workloads that our bodies go through when delivering a pitch. If you would like more information about The Zone Baseball Academy pm me and I will share everything about what we do. Sam Moore
Thanks Coach Moore for clearing this up for us.  Easttx maybe was confused with the crow hop drill. Keep up the good work.
 11. Angelle and Hicks touched low 90's stayed 86-89.Stringer and Dillon  stayed 85-88 Dishon didn't pitch much but probably top out 87.

 13.
Lol bonds has 7 mvps and 8 gold gloves. There isn't 400 400 player ever and he has 500 hrs and 500 steals. Stop being a hater he was a 5 tool player coming out of asu. Do you even know what 5 tool player is lol.
Bonds was 5 tool and one of the best. Look at the below stats and tell me who was the best all around player. From 1915 through 1919, Ruth was the best left-handed pitcher in the American League, compiling a record of 89-46 and posting an ERA of 2.18. The Bambino was also an incredible postseason pitcher. In three World Series games, Ruth pitched 31 innings, posted a 3-0 record and had an ERA of 0.87. Ruth also set a record for consecutive World Series shutout innings, with 29 2/3
