Defense of Nederland really stepped up after falling behind 23-7. Waller had some athletes, the QB was a pretty good runner. Tyler Smith after getting his feet wet in the 1st half came out in the 3rd and looked like a solid 4a QB who can only get better. Cardenas ran hard, Brady had a break out game.

Football maybe a little down, basketball team is in a rebuilding stage but when you face their softball and baseball programs you know you have to compete with HF.

I think you will see the Stangs start stepping it up a little more each week.
