good point gunho. scoring 21 points on the Stangs is no small order. i know we gave up 42 and people that didn't witness the game will think i'm crazy but our defense showed signs of coming around especially compared to last year. heck we scored 50 and lost a game last year.

what will it take to get Westbrook or memorial in the top 10? was dayton the last team in our area to make this list? looks like 2A is where southeast texas is the strongest in the rankings. why is this?

Thats an opinion that I don't think I would put in a forum.....things like that have a way to come back and bite you in the butt! Win/lose, we're all part of 20-4A. It seems turnovers were rampant all over the district last night...thats typical in preseason as the boys work out the jitters and continue to focus for district play. Just trying to keep up with AdminBabyRuth......lol ;D ;D ;D we good pngfan, i would think market basket had run out of kool aid if a nederland win made you sad. We didn't play some stiff. We're down by a TD with 1:00 minute left in 3rd. At that time we had fumbled 4 times and had 3 interceptions against a team that can out run you with 1 leg.

WOS is such a big play team, LCM must keep the ball on offense to stand a chance. I don't know how good we are at Nederland so using us as a measuring stick is up for debate.

no comment on Kirby till we get the official word, just hope it's good. the game itself, imo both teams came away happy. wos has so many weapons and they just keep coming. we know how good haynes and franks are, but no. 5 was the best player on the field last night . i know we had 7 turnovers and wos fumbled 6 times and never lost one, but we just got beat by a better team last night. that doesn't mean if we met up late in the season the dogs wouldn't take them. our defense was good, i know i will leave some out but sonnier, jackson, butler and louivere played great.
