That's correct aj25. Babe Ruth's Cal Ripkin League is booming across the country and they made a headquarter decision to put those funds toward that part of Babe Ruth. Our 16's in our league always competed well across the nation, they may bring it back in the future.

Alumni game is being re-scheduled big rain just hit the park. I will post the the re-schedule time later tonight.

Is this a regional tournament? It looks like Texas and Louisiana winners were invited to the Arkansas State Tournament. Babe Ruth made a decision, which we disagree with, no opportunity for a World Series winner in the 16 yr old league. We have 8 regions in the country [Hidden Content] Two regions in the country South Shore, NY and Fort Smith , Ark decided to host an invitational only region and our league's kids decided they wanted to participate, so we are sending them this week. Coach Faircloth deserves respect and all the attention the press is giving him. I just hope the reservation don't turn on him in case the Indians don't make the playoffs this season.

On paper and what they accomplished last year Nederland will be the cream of the crop next year. After watching the Babe Ruth 13's, 14's and 15's in tournament action they have some kids that will shine at the varsity level in the next 2 or 3 years. Orangefield will have what most 5A teams can't say, not one but two Div 1 players that have signed with prestigious colleges and 6 starters coming back besides Felts and Statum. I would say Nederland and Orangefield.
