Rebels Claim Series With 5-2 Win Over No. 24 Alabama Kevin Mort drew a lead-off walk in the fifth before moving to third on a fielding error at third on a grounder from Brett Basham. The state baseball tournament still is more than two months away, but Moody and Calallen gave fans an early taste of what could be the battle for the regional championship. In a non-district matchup featuring the state’s top two teams in Class 4A, the Trojans held on for a 7-4 victory Saturday afternoon in front of 2,689 fans at Whataburger Field.
