  8. from what I've seen, not much difference in PNG, LCM and Nederland. haven't seen vidor yet, but they will be tough on any night in district play. what's going to be great, we don't have that show stopping 90 mph who can shut down any good hitting ball club. district championship will be won on defense this year, plus coaching. the talent in this district from the underclassman is the most i've seen in awhile. we have sophmores who hit and pitch like seniors that will contribute big time. don't be surprised if you don't have a regional final game here locally.
  9. Nederland is solid, tonight started I believe 5 or 6 sophomore's, who all can play at the 4A level. The freshman that threw could really hit his spots. Bridge City looked shaky in the field , didn't hit the ball that well but faced some quality pitching. Both staffs pitched well for both teams as they both had over 10 k's.
  10. Cardinals show rust in 9-3 loss to Bulldogs Gabriel Pruett The Orange Leader BRIDGE CITY — The Nederland Bulldogs sure were effective Tuesday night at Cardinals’ Field. The Bulldogs took advantage of a couple of Bridge City errors in a couple innings and then used the long ball late to win 9-3. Nederland (1-0) scored three runs in the top of the second. Trey Terracino reached on a fielder’s choice and advanced to second while the Cardinals (0-1) were busy chasing down Jude Vidrine in a hot-box for the inning’s second out. Read more> [Hidden Content]

  12. These two teams seem to have a nice rivalry going and look to be even in talent.
  13. LCM 11-2 top 6th. since zane anderson of wos has taken the mound, has pitched well for wos, probably 7 or 8 k's and 2 unearned runs. lcm has pitched wadell, smith, thompson, cloeran and barry.
