from what I've seen, not much difference in PNG, LCM and Nederland. haven't seen vidor yet, but they will be tough on any night in district play. what's going to be great, we don't have that show stopping 90 mph who can shut down any good hitting ball club. district championship will be won on defense this year, plus coaching. the talent in this district from the underclassman is the most i've seen in awhile. we have sophmores who hit and pitch like seniors that will contribute big time. don't be surprised if you don't have a regional final game here locally.

Nederland is solid, tonight started I believe 5 or 6 sophomore's, who all can play at the 4A level. The freshman that threw could really hit his spots. Bridge City looked shaky in the field , didn't hit the ball that well but faced some quality pitching. Both staffs pitched well for both teams as they both had over 10 k's.
