  9. well known name has applied, but till it's officially announced by the school district to the media, everything else is just speculation. i would expect that's the way the concerned people of LCM would like it handled. Are we talking coach that has won a state championship well known or someone that has been at the school before well known. yes

  12. john was one the hardest throwers i've seen in the highschool ranks. you talk about a treat for baseball fans, when on tuesday and friday night's for about 2 years you could get in your car and watch 3 major leagures go at it, ie john patterson (WOS), beau hale (LCM) brian sanches(Ned).

Kale Terrier 2b Soph. Jacob Clark p/of Soph. Blake Hale inf Others Sr. Ethan Duhon p/c/utility Comments The 2009 version of the Buna Cougars will be almost identical to last years team. The pitching staff should be better this year with our top 2 pitchers returning! A good mix of veteran leadership and young talent should improve the Cougar team for this season. We will be very solid defensively, but need to improve offensively. The Team batting average last year was .303. Our Staff ERA was 2.87 and our fielding % for the team was .927 . However, a brutal early schedule and three outstanding tournaments (Lumberton, Orangefield, and Jasper tournaments) should be great building blocks for the Cougars. Tough Competition early helped prepare us for a deep playoff run last year. Hopefully, it will do the same this year. Head Coach - Kevin Terrier Assistant Coaches - Brady McMillon and Randy Redkey
