We will be very solid defensively, but need to improve offensively. The Team batting average last year was .303. Our Staff ERA was 2.87 and our fielding % for the team was .927 . However, a brutal early schedule and three outstanding tournaments (Lumberton, Orangefield, and Jasper tournaments) should be great building blocks for the Cougars.
