  1. OK, big shake up coming. Let's see your top 10. Can BH beat everyone on this list? Nederland beats PNG's No 2, LCM drops both games this week. Vidor beats Dayton and Lumberton. BC goes 2-0 with wins over OF and Kirbyville. Jasper loses to a hot HF and destroys WOS. WB gets 2 big wins over Kingwood and Lee. Ozen goes 2-0 with wins over Dayton and LCM and their No 1. HJ knocks off Silsbee and is in the thick of it. Can BC beat WB, Vidor, PNG or Barbers Hill? Does WB beat Barbers Hill? Where does Nederland go with a big win, also HJ? Rankings/Next opponent 1.….Barbers Hill.......Beat Crosby 11-4 / Beat New Caney 3-2 2.….PNG…………Beat LCM 11-1 / Lost to Ned 6-3 3....LCM.........Lost to PNG 11-1 / Lost to Ozen 5-3 4.….Vidor……….Beat Lumberton 10-4 / Beat Dayton 13-1 5…..BC…………..Beat OF 5-2 / Beat Kirbyville 11-2 6....Jasper.......Lost to HF 14-2 / Beat WOS 19-2 7.…Westbrook....Beat Kingwood 5-4 / Beat Lee 7-5 8.…Ozen..........Beat Dayton 6-4 / Beat LCM 5-3 [move]Huffman lost to GP 8-1 / Beat Smiley 15-4 [/move] 9...Silsbee………..Beat WOS 13-9 / Lost to HJ 7-2 10..Hardin-Jefferson………Beat Kirbyville 13-4 / Beat Silsbee 7-2
  2. Logan Johnson gets the win for the Horns, Kyle Markum had a triple, single, Derek Lelonde with 2 doubles along Jake Minaldi with double. Jacob Felts take the lost, Statum and Felts with doubles.
  3. From memory, Josh Dean goes 6 innings giving up less than 5 hits. Ryan Sampere closes it out in the 6th and 7th. Dean pitched well as his fastball was smoking. Mitch Todd started for PNG, had the bases loaded with 2 outs and Jordan Pitts laced a triple in the gap clearing the bases. Jerin Spikes in refief for Mitch and finished the game. Kirby Bellows stays hot with 3 hits, aaron McFarland had clutch double.
  4. Some I've seen with numbers would be Muellar (WB), Pitts (Ned), Daigle (HF), Koenig (HF), Bellows (Ned),
  5. HJ and Silsbee are very similar teams. Monse (HJ) and McDonald (Sil) both are quality pitchers, I feel HJ swings the bat a little better
  6. My two top games will be Ned/PNG and HJ/Silsbee. Nederland is in must win situation against the Indians. Todd will probably get the nod for PNG, Nederland will start whoever Coach Robins feels can contain a very good hitting team. HJ and Silsbee are very similar teams. Monse (HJ) and McDonald (Sil) both are quality pitchers, I feel HJ swings the bat a little better.
  7. Tiger made back to back bogey's on 13 and 14. But he just eagled 15 to get back to even. Justin Rose is current leader at -4 and is on 14.
  8. Tiger is approaching Amen Corner, he's even for the day, 2 back.
  9. PNG and BH would be a great matchup. PNG vs. Huffman, PNG vs. New Caney, PNG vs. Galena Park, I'll say PNG easily. We know about Todd...BH89-2 is here to stir the pot up. Got to admit, he usually does a darn good job of it. And I tell you, if we do not start hitting the ball more consistently, 4 rounds deep ain't happening. BH vs PNG either a 1 gamer or 3 gamer would be a toss up. Baseball is streaky, these 2 could be knocked out before a matchup. PNG had a big win over LCM, but the week before lost to Vidor and squeaked by Ozen.
  10. BC/San Jac/Lamar Kevin Angelle "Kevin Angelle moves his record to 5-1 after a 10 strike out performance against Galveston as the Gators beat Galveston 11-1. Angelle gave up 4 hits and 1 run in 7 innings of work."
  11. Nederland/McNeese's Ryan Brauninger "The Cowboys upped the lead to 3-1 in the fourth inning on Ryan Brauninger's RBI single off reliever Rashaud Henry, but the Tigers tied it in the fifth against Conrad on Rhone's two-run single." Link to Story

  14. I see a shake up coming. 16. Deweyville's Zane Williams The Muleriders were led offensively by left fielder Zane Williams who was 3-for-5 with a pair of runs. Leadoff hitter Pat Robey had two hits and an RBI, ...
  17. Left fielder Collin Delome (Buna) got high-fives after giving the Legends a 2-0 lead in the fourth inning with a solo home run, his first of the season. Photo by Mark Cornelison | Staff
