Each team in this 3A district has a quality pitcher this year. You haven't seen as many blow outs as past years. Of course BC and Jasper are the cream because of their depth 1-9 lineup. Monse (HJ), Statum (OF), Koenig (HF) McDonald (Silsbee), the Kirbyville ace, don't know his name can compete with Jasper and BC if their defense shows up.

WOS has really improved their play. They can swing it, defense is their weakness. Silsbee is deeper, they should prevail.

Look for an upset here if the Bears can find them. The Jag's are due.
