  1. Jasper's coach is one the best around. They have been blessed with some of the best around over the years.
  2. With Parson going 14 innings in 4 days you got that right.
  3. First time to see him play. The kid has MLB written all over him. If there is another high school player in the area who is more dominating at the plate, let me know.
  4. Travis Moore with huge 2 run home run in the 6th to extend a 12-10 lead by HF, and Brett Koening pitching well in relief for the Horns. Jasper didn't quit, Horns been close during district, finally got a big win.
  5. You got give Central credit, when they showed up they gave LCM a game. But on the other hand, LCM didn't lay an egg, they competed and won the game.
  6. What's the pitcher's name who threw the shut out for Kirbyville?
  7. 10-6 Bears, Central batting in the bottom of 7th. Tim Barry goes 6, Dallas Brown is pitching the 7th. Matt Johnson with HR.
  8. LCM/Texas A&M Clayton Elhert The Wildcats started the scoring in the top of the first with a single run off of Aggie starter and winner Clayton Ehlert (4-2). Link to Full Story
  9. We have 8 teams, we try to carry 16-18 players because many work. It's best to ask some of your teamates how everyting works during Babe Ruth, they will be the best source of info. Ask Clark, Snyder, Hubbard, Matthews, Hicks or Dillon how it works.
  10. Each team in this 3A district has a quality pitcher this year. You haven't seen as many blow outs as past years. Of course BC and Jasper are the cream because of their depth 1-9 lineup. Monse (HJ), Statum (OF), Koenig (HF) McDonald (Silsbee), the Kirbyville ace, don't know his name can compete with Jasper and BC if their defense shows up.
  11. WOS has really improved their play. They can swing it, defense is their weakness. Silsbee is deeper, they should prevail.
  12. Look for an upset here if the Bears can find them. The Jag's are due.
  13. Hardin-Jeff/McNeese/Rangers Ben Broussard "Ben Broussard provided the big blow at Angel Stadium with his sixth career grand slam in the fourth inning. Gabbard, though, stole the starring role just south of Hollywood by scattering seven hits with four strikeouts and two walks" Link
  14. BC/LSU Johnny Dishon "LSU expanded its lead in the fifth. Bradford continued his dominance on the mound, retiring his sixth straight batter of the game. At the plate, Johnny Dishon hit his first career home run to right field. Schimpf followed with a single, and advanced to second on a Helenihi grounder. Dean brought Schimpf home with a line drive single to right, putting the Tigers up 3-0." Link
