  17. You take away those round metal poles about 32 inches long in those bat bags at the 610 loop, those other teams might have a fair shot.
  18. With that staff, 1 run is like 5. I would comment about the Hales kid when I seen him pitch, but I couldn't see over the scouts. Maybe he is decent.
  19. I called the Vidor team a throwback in a previous post. This picture reminds of the old days when a high school baseball tournament was a tournament. You had a winner, you had a MVP, you had an all-tournament team. Those days at the old Certa tournament in Orange when you could see teams from Louisana to Houston. The next week ride over to the reservation and see some best players and teams at PNG. Times do change. Thanks Gary for the pic KOGT

  24. Blackballed Bonds has eye on Japan Barry Bonds may end up playing baseball in Japan this year. “He’s not retiring,†Bonds’ agent, Jeff Borris, told Metro yesterday. “He intends to play somewhere. If a door doesn’t open for Barry in the major leagues, as unbelievable as that possibility sounds, then Japan certainly is an option.â€
