I went to the Giddings /WOS game last year. That game could have gone either way. From the stats I've seen, WOS defense is stronger than last year. It's nice to know you can already talk about your playoff opponent down the road. That's not arrogance in my book, that's knowing what's in front of you.

#18 Salter ran the ball hard, but he also had to cover Asa. #16 Richard is real quick and dangerous, he needed the ball more. LCM has to work on mixing it up a little, their line looked a little undersized for power running game. But, they are very good in baseball and that's what matters to me.

No doubt Chaingang, the Stangs are tough. Dayton win was big. You can also say the Stangs beat a winless LCM team with a Hail Mary. The Stangs would be tested more in 4A with top tier teams coming at you every week.

If you put Kelly, PNG, Dayton, Nederland and Lumberton in the same district with the teams they have this year, it would be war like it is right now.

WOS might have missed the playoffs the last 3 years in 4A but they were just as good as they are now, other teams were just better. They would compete for a playoff in 4A again this year, but again no guarantee they would make it.
