  1. He was next to Coach Matthews on the sidelines the 1st half, but late I seen him jump on Dravanti's back as the gun went off.
  2. The night belong to 1957 State Champions as the community went all out in honoring the team, cheerleaders and all in involve. By the way the current Dogs went thru the motion and won 28-7. Soph Kirby Bellows grew a little more with pin point passing and the receiving of Asa Cardenas and Adam Broussard. Cameron Bass ran hard. the defense took a awhile to adjust to the Pirates one demional offense, but thru a shutout after their 1st score.
  3. Hey, Bum may be sitting by me tonight. Your not going to believe this but I passed by the field. People are already lining up, there was scuffle near front gate. It was who was 1st in line, lo and behold the two guys were PAtitan and PirateFan.
  4. Let's see. I love sports, get to wear shorts to work. You make an average of......$50,000 a year, work 30 years that's $1,500,000. Health insurance paid for.... $ 3,600 a year, work 30 years that's $ 180,000 Life and Dental paid for.......$ 1,200 a year, work 30 years that's $ 36,000 Sick leave ....................... $ 4,200 a year, work 30 years that's $ 126,000 Pension 15% of salary.........$ 7,500 1 year, work 30 years that's $ 225,000 When I retire I get about 3,000 a month check guaranteed, you would need to save on your own around $700,000 to produce those numbers. Yes, I would coach in a NY minute. By the way, from the coaches and teachers I know they deseve every penny and more.

  6. High School....Kendall Briles College..........Terry Bradshaw Pro...............Only seen 2 QB's in Pro's, Billy Kilmer and Don Meridith in New Orleans as kid. Billy didn't finish the game, believe he was hung over and Don got his nose broke.
  7. A-Rod hits slam for his 53rd. [Hidden Content] Prince hit 2, that's 50 for him.
  8. Love to listen but Mrs Adminbaberuth has taken over the room, "Dancing with the Stars". She is actually rewinding the broadcast watching replays. Good luck with the show.
  9. Dayton has alot of talented players. They should be the heavy favorite, but I believe that Lumberton will give them a game. Lumberton has scored some points abeit, some struggling opponents. They did match Kelly's output with BC. No one scores on WOS but the Stangs have been struggling scoring points and they put their largest total against Dayton, that tells me Lumberton can score on Dayton.
  10. Big School (5A-4A) 1. Nederland 2. West Brook 3. Central 4. Lumberton 5. Memorial 6. Dayton 7. LC-M 8. PN-G 9.Ozen 10.Barbers Hill It's a great conversation tool. Will it change, you bet. Let's look at the top 10, I'm a homer but Nederland would have big trouble with WB. East Chambers, Newton and WOS plus Kelly could beat some teams on this list. WOS has beaten 2 already. We will see how it turns out.
  11. He's been a trooper for the Stros and Houston sports. I would let him pitch also. Heck, he was a pretty good football player, so suit him up for the Texans and let him play on the kick off coverage.
  12. Biggio received standing O from the Cardinals fans in St Louis with his last at bat tonight.

  16. HF did give EC a better game than HJ. Kirbyville and WOS have the potential to go a few rounds this year, they are the cream. Looks like HF has the best shot to knock off Silsbee or Jasper.
  17. If Dan would leave soon, probably Cornell would step in. I don't see Coach Hooks leaving anytime soon, he can stay as long as his health takes him. As far as successor, look for a former Mustang down the road to take over the helm.
  18. Titan, when you come don't worry about the parking, you may use the Ref's parking spot this week. He is leaving his car at Larry's house.
