This could get interesting. The pressure for a high school ballplayer is extreme when you know that this could be your last game. HF will be loose, Silsbee will be a little tighter.

I second that on the Bears, they have over achieved. Also, the Broncos and Pirates have really impressed me during the season. PNG is just about where I expected them, in the playoffs. For Nederland, a somewhat disappointing district year, but it's not over. I feel good about Friday, we needed a little help during football season and it turn it out very well, let's see what happens tommorrow.

Westbrook has shown they are the cream of the area. In 3A, BC has been the cream for the last 6 or 7 years, with hardly any threat in district play. In 4A, PNG, Nederland and LCM have flip flop for years. Do you see the other area teams getting stronger or has the top teams fell off?

Never seen 2 players equal in talent, at the same position. One or the other has an advantage for your team to win. If your fighting for a playoff spot, you have to play the best. If you your playing out the season, give the senior a shot.

Very cold and windy night. BC's defense struggled early, but got tight when it counted down the stretch. BC's Phillip Meeks pitched a solid game. Michael Lange ( HF) gave up 6 hits struck out 10, but 9 errors did him in. Troy Bolton of BC, about as clutch as you can get. This kid needs a shot at the next level.

Very well played game by both teams. Sampere made a clutch play on soft grounder with 2 outs and runner at 3rd for NED, Moshier the catcher from Nederland gunned a runner. Mosely made a great catch to save the no-hitter, PNG's Harrington also made some crucial plays. It was nice to see Eric Cammack and Brian Sanches honored prior to the game.

PNG vs Nederland moved to 6 pm., maybe even earlier.
