  1. This game is one to see. Vidor is tough as nails, on both sides of the ball. PNG has strong running game and will pound it down your throat, then the soph QB will throw a sharp pass when needed. I like the reciever from PNG Johnson, he has a knack to go get the ball. Croak from Vidor and PNG's Begnaud are mirror images of each other. The LB from Vidor, Pillsbury I believe is very good. PNG has the Tezano kid in the defensive backfield that can play. Both teams have good kickers. PNG at the buzzer.
  2. Have not seen Dayton this year, but they have been putting up some impressive victories. Central is a good football team, as vp93 has mentioned, their defense is the weak link. Central will put a hat on you. The QB is the best in southeast Texas, if Dayton can control him, they win.
  3. Two distinct halves of football. Nederland dominated the 1st half and scored at will. 2nd half, different story, as Ozen made some adjustments. Dogs probably had only two 1st downs in 2nd half and no offense. Ozen moved the ball well, but suspect play calling near the goal and a strong stand by the Dogs defense held Ozen out.
  4. Pujols just hit solo HR off Glavin but still trail 2-1 bottom 4th.
  5. Thanks GoStangs for posting that article. Even though he's across the tracks, he's a real professional and class act. If you ever get to watch the video called Braggin Rights by Reagen Hawkins you will be in for a treat. He's probably has 15 minutes or more talking about the history of Mid County Madness, it's a treat to all football fans.

  7. Gasilla Don't have clue who would be in Round 4, my comment was a general statement as that WOS is such a strong team that Silsbee wouldn't face anyone that good till around Round 4, if their still playing. Maybe I should have said the State Championship, but I don't want to jinxed the Stangs.
  8. This game scares me. Ozen has always played the Dogs tough, it's really hard to fathom the Panthers being down with the playmakers they always seem to have. The wins we get from now on will be by 10 or less.
  9. Mets get break as their pitcher is hit by line shot and is taken out, he leaves bases loaded with no outs for the new hurler for Mets.
  10. HR by pitcher Suppan as Cards lead 3-0 in 2nd.
  11. Speizo stays hot as he knocks in 2 runs as Cards take lead. 2-0
  12. Beltran is stranded after his base hit in top of 1st, no score.
  13. What a game....Mosley I believe was 42 rushes for 275 yards and it almost wasn't enough.....Dogs offensive line was too much for the Indians.....Begnaud got hurt for Indians and that put a crimp in their offense as he ran wild early in the game.....Atmosphere was awesome....The soph. PNG QB is going to be good......
  14. Beltran goes deep in 6th as Mets take 2-0 lead.
  15. Nederland's 5 year record prior to Coach Nuemann's hire 1993, 13-35 no playoff's. Baseball, Soccer and Softball under the AD of Nuemann have been at the top since his hire.
  16. It never gets old, but if it doesn't happen I will need a shirt and and hat so I want look out of place. If it's Vidor, I have a black shirt and hat.
