  1. Coach Hooks deserves this honor. He's been a colorfull leader for the Mustangs and I wish him many more years at the helm.
  2. I'm sneeking a look at the board between meetings. Don't have time to read all the post, so someone who's been surfing for awhile link me to something enlighnting that was written today. By the way A's 5-2 over Twins in 9th.
  3. I think I'm the only one watching. Just seen Louisana Lightning in Yankee dugout, Ron Guidry. For you youngsters he was a great pitcher from USL that played with Yanks. WOS's Andre Robertson was Guidry's teamate with the Yanks in the late 70's.
  4. Yanks were up 5-0, Tigers have come back 5-3 still batting in 5th.
  5. Jeter doubles for his 2nd hit of game. Yanks lead as Abreu doubles 2 runs in. Yanks 2-0 in 3rd. Spike Lee, Rudy G and Patrick Ewing in the house that Ruth built.

  9. I could be wrong but Vidor is pretty good. They have some very quick running backs and the QB is very athletic. I like their pursuit and they can tackle. Mosley broke the line a few times and had one on one, which in previous weeks he would have brought it to the house but Vidor made that one on one tackle. Nederland can score some points but we sure have been giving them up. It's obvious with Mosley only on the offensive side our defense will suffer.
  10. They sure kept it interesting to the bitter in. We need to take a hard look at Garner, too many questionable moves during the year,ie Lidge and Biggio. Burke has to play more games than Bigs next year. Glad he finally played Scott who did contribute. I would keep Ensberg, maybe see what we can get for Willy . Something has to be done about 7 and 8 hole hitters. We lose 3 innings of ball every game for Ausmus. Everrete and the pitcher. I still don’t understand Garner today with runners at 2nd and 3rd no outs and a lefty on the mound. I like Scotty (not as mush as Diva) but you have to bring in a righty for either Scott or Huff, who both k’d. Anyway great year for the Astros, spring training right around the corner.
  11. Want you go kiss it for him Diva, since your Scotty got plunked on the knee. .
  12. No, my neighbor knocked on door. "Do you have an egg?" I'm in the middle of a pennant race not a friggin grocery store. Well, I had one and obliged. Was it a nice catch?
  13. Stros down 1-0 early but burke just doubled huff to 3rd with 1 out in 2nd inning.
  14. Might use Roy as a closer for tomorrow's game. Time to switch to football, good game with Nebraska and Kansas on FSN 24-19 Cornhuskers at 9:56 of 4th.
  15. YES Will Roy O go tommorrow? I see Carpenter is penciled in for the Cards.
  16. 77 are u saying Wheeler got the save or you hope he gets the save?
  17. Your excused, but what is the delay in bottom of 9th?
