If he's better than Brian Cleveland or Earnest Anderson he must be a hoss.

Yes they have, but I'll let the official sources announce it.

Pitching..... 3 Div 1 pitchers 2 signed w/ A&M...Elhert (LCM) / Angelle (BC) and a third Brock Haymon (BC) McNeese LCM........................................BC Scheinder SS.......................Bolton 2B Ehlert P...............................Coleman SS Rowell C..............................Dishon CF Womack 1B.........................Angelle P Adams 3B...........................Sparks LF Cassidy RF..........................Jackson C Lemoine 2B.........................Haymon 1B Dugas CF............................Hecker 3B Martin LF.............................Scales RF Coaching...... LCM=Griff, BC=Bryant It won't happen but Angelle and Elhert going 7 innings would be a low scoring game, maybe 1 run difference. Look for both teams to pitch 3 or 4 pitchers.

Being in the same district with the No 1 ranked team in the State of Texas sometimes over shadows both teams’ successes. This game should be close, could go either way. Roebuck should throw against HF since he wasn’t use against OF. Roebuck who is very good pitcher , beat HF 3-1 earlier throwing a complete game. HJ and HF both pretty good teams. Can they advance pass the 1st round as they must face Cleveland and Barbers Hill?

Bridge City continues it's domination of the district with 12-1 victory in 5. Kevin Angelle and Johnny Dishon went deep. Angelle gave up 1 hit and had 7 k's. The Major League scouts were plenty. Angelle stayed at 88-89 topping at 91. Also in attendance was potential opponent Lufkin Hudson, along with lefty Brandon Belt who has thrown 4 no-hitters in district. Could we see a Belt and Angelle matchup? Hamshire-Fannett actually put the ball in play. When you strike out less 10 times against Bridge City pitching you look for anything positive. Looks like a big game Tuesday as HF and Hardin-Jefferson will play for 2nd or 3rd place.

I didn't see any quit in WOS last night. they fought till the last out against HF. They scored 2 runs in the 7th and had the tieing run at the plate.

Nederland vs Lumberton Final

Coach Buff and Rodrick had a difference of opinion on a tag up play. Rodrick didn't toss him, the ump who over ruled Rodrick's call did the tossing. -

mcmom I give you credit, anyone that comes on baseball board looking for some ladies who lead a drill team in the 50's have no fear. If there is a place who can appreciate failure, baseball is were it's at. You fail 7 out of 10 times, you go to the Hall of Fame. -
Did Roebuck pitch against Orangefield?

Great Sports Video To Check Out
adminbaberuth replied to KFDM COOP's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
Just watched it. The best recap of past sports moments I've seen. Of course being partial to baseball it was nice to see Kirk Gipson's HR, wish we could have heard Vince Sculley call it.......It was nice to see BABE, not Ruth, but Zaharis.......Ali was over it, him and Cosell were a team.......There was Donny Moore, pitcher for Angels who gave up HR to Dave Henderson with 2 outs in the 9th, tragically committed suicide afterwards....The Babe, Lou, Mickey, Hank and Wille's great catch....Bird and Magic, that's when I could watch a full basketball game...... -
OK Pro 21, I'll help you out. Weakness: The pitching is suspect, they have no righthanders that can break 85. The outfield doesn't have baseball speed, only track speed since both the LF and CF won district track meet. For some reason the left side of infield is real rusty. They haven't fielded a ground ball since March. Hope that helps.
