Has to be something going on in Jasper, the entire baseball staff is gone from last year. Rumor is 14+ coaches have left Jasper this past year, or something crazy like that.

Mid-County only had 4 hits on the day with Will Fontnow getting two of them. VJ Bunner and Taylor Robichau each getting one with a pair of RBI's. Harrington pitched all 7 giving up 7 hits and somewhere between 7-9 strikeouts.

Who was lucky to be in this game Ozen or Vidor? Surely you mean Vidor, because if not for the errors, Ozen should have had an easy win even dispite the runs for Ozen that should have been scored due to poor base running. This is what i was talking about rookie. Never once did i down any player or the ozen team, They are a great team and competed with everyone in our distict. But for someone to say that ozen should have won that game EASILY but errors cost them the game is obviously mistaken. I agree BOTH teams played their hearts out last night, but someone had to win. I respect Lott and Gardiner and the whole Ozen team for the effort they put forth last night and i wish everyone on the team the best of luck in the future.

WOW..... its always something.. Forget about the amazing comeback the pirates accomplished last night, they won because of ozen making to many errors..sorry to break this to some people but ERRORS are part of the game and every team has them, the good teams are the ones who capitalize on the other teams mistakes. For all the pirate fans and players.. Dont listen to these idiotic post, yall played yalls hearts out last night and everyone in the city respects you for that.

None of the Vidor grads from last year have made any commitments to any colleges for baseball, but most of them will be attending Lamar next year to further their education.

Well they couldnt pick a better MVP on the team. Hitting over .600 in district in just insane. My hats off to him that kid can stroke.

Well i'm sure if he is as good as everyone says and he goes out and proves it tomm in front of Lamr scouts i would imagine a scholorship would be in the bag.

The Game starts at 3:00, unless it runs late again, but is is schelduled for three. He isnt starting but he is for sure relieving, and if i heard right i think thats what he did all year. Either starter or reliever though ive heard nothing but good things about this kid. I hope he achieves his goal and makes it to the next level.

Suppose to be pitching for the Big Timers tomm at Lamar. So come out there and watch him,ill be out on the field w/ him, im pretty excited to see him pitch myself it will be my first time.
