Pretty sure they got plenty of input from Coach Mixon on this, and he would know who the best person for the job would be especially being he faced most if not all of the ones who applied. Coach Barbay knows how important baseball is in Jasper and knows he is responsible for it as well as every other sport. Try not to judge too quickly the proof will be in the pudding.

I do nails and hair in roganvile so I know both teams well. The dogs will be a lot better this year.  ;D

Long way off but I think it will come down to this. Region 3 Semifinals (1) Robinson vs. (5) Orangefield and (7) Jasper vs (9) Bridge City Winners will face off for the right to go to Austin.

I agree with you Kirbyville doesnt have the talent Jasper does. Kirbyville has not had the talent Jasper did the last three years. Realistically there is no reason Jasper should lose to Kirbyville. But I got news for you, you can resort back to the past fifty years it doesnt matter!!!!! When a team comes into your stadium that has half the numbers you do, it has half the talent you do and KICKS your butt two years in a row cause they wanted it more and every player gave everything they had to be able to say they beat the team that does dominate them (according to your logic) and is a dynasty then that is FOOTBALL and you and your dynasty and dominance will never be able to take that away from them boys.....and that my friend is PRICELESS!!!!!!! Why does K-ville lose to Newton every year then, I guess it's because they don't want it. I know they only scrimmaged the past couple of years but when is the last time they have beat them. and the year before last BC lost like 11 seniors we reload every year Reload and then what? Everyon reloads its what you reload with. Win it all then you can talk about reloading.

Some of the time these events like this involve alot of drinking and other extras that go along with them. The coach maybe didn't want them around that. Could have had somthing to do with it. If he told them not to go they should not have gone bottom line, but he probably over reacted

That is like saying last year that BC didn't have a very good chance to make it to the Reginal finals. I think there was more than 1 run difference in at least one of the regular season games with BC last year. Trust me BC wants to play jasper again as much as Jasper wanted to play them again last year.

I say it gets called due to rain Friday and they play saturday with planes flying all over the skys of Jasper.

KJAS reports that Cord Yates went six innings with pneumonia. Man that's shows his toughness.

Good to see someone congratulate their coach, when BC wins it's all about how they did in little league, but when they lose this year it will be all on Bryant and they will be calling for his job. Never fails!!!
