2.
liltex, my dad and brother are on a deer lease in Junction owned by a guy named Tom. And we found a two-foot-long snake in our house. My mom stepped on it at midnight going to the restroom area. Lucky for her it was just a chicken snake.
Been in Junction 7 years and I have only seen about 3 rattlers.  Of course, 1 is enough!
 3. Beaumont still up 10-0 in the 4th.  Darian Fleming now pitching for Beaumont
 4. Beaumont up 10-0 in the 3rd.
 5. Beaumont Seniors up 4-0 in bottom 2nd.  Will Darling(Kelly) on the mound.
 6.
That article linked about Jasper said they have one kid that throws 80 and two that throw mid 70's? Wow that is one heck of a staff...Is that right? They should be smoking everyone with guys like that...I think BC last year had 3 guys in the upper 60's to low 70's
I was told that the 80 guy was clocked at 74(highest) at sectional.  Still hard, but not 80.  The other guy is a better pitcher, but probably throws 69-70.   Still, impressive for such a small league.
 7. Beaumont lost 5-1.    They will have a rematch with Calhoun today.
 8. 4-0  West University leads in bottom 5th
 9. Beaumont still down 2-0  going to 5th
 10. Beaumont seniors trail West University 2-0  bottom 3rd
 11.

Wow, A major upset in the making!  Bottom of the 5th; BC 3 Rose Capitol East 1......This is funny, the city of Tyler hosted this event fully expecting to stay undefeated with the-- Rose Capitol East-- greater area handpicked team.  Hang in there Bridge City 13-14 year olds!
BC is solid I and wouldn't call it a major upset most of the teams at this level are undefeated. Sinton is very good too.
Sinton got run ruled.    In Seniors, West University won 15-0.  They are going to be tough, as expected.
 12. Beaumont Seniors still up 2-0  bottom 6
 13. Beaumont Seniors 2-0.  Going to top of 5th.  Solo HR for Travis Robles.
 14. Beaumont Seniors v Calhoun.  0-0 bottom of 3
 15. Has BH played any 5A teams in the last 5 years?  If so, how did they fare?
 16. Wow!  Who wrote that crap?  Most teams have 100 12 year olds?  I think West End is the largest in our district, and we would be lucky to have 40-45 most years.
Why is that funny?
Its a football stadium! ;D
It's the one thing that keeps some of these kids interested in trying to pass their classes.
Well he was loved enough by the majority of the board.  I believe the vote was 5-1.  Btw, are you going to whine about his name being on all the new construction along with the school board?  CBT will be all over Beaumont including your precious West End.....
Yeah, whatever.   You, my boy, are a fool if you think I care one way or another.  i just said it was a bad idea to stir up controversy at this time, and naming it Beaumont Stadium would have caused none of those hard feelings.
Far from a boy Westender.  At the end of the day, CBT is the name of the stadium.  You don't like it, move....
Learn to read, southender.  I DONT CARE.  Some do, so it was a bad decision.   Bad for the board, bad for the community.  Your posts are just proof of that.
Stone's throw from WB aka Forest Park but I'm a solutions oriented person.  If this little coup de tat goes through, I propose everybody that looks like me remove their kids from Forest Park so everybody that looks like you can be happy.  And then, y'all @Forest Park can continue the storied winning tradition y'all had up until '82.... Oh yeah, that's right, y'all didn't have a winning tradition.....
Go for it.  Education is way overrated.

 22.
apparently not a single story about the game with the exception of James Ware and Brooke Bentley at Fox News...... that is simply unacceptable imo.
I know what you mean.  Me and a bunch of other guys who used to play basketball had a pick-up game last weekend and nobody covered it either.
 23. Over and done.  Nobody will think much of it when a few years have passed.  Still, Beaumont Stadium seems like a better fit.
 24. Beaumont Seniors are headed back to state.  They hung on to win against Magnolia 5-4, almost blowing a 5-0 lead.
 25.

Deaumont Seniors beat Vidor 15-4.   The game was actually much closer than the final score.
any highlights?..don't tell me falgout went yard again.
Not last night, but Norris hit a slam in the last inning.    Falgout had two more Wednesday.    Vidor gave up lots of walks last night.  I think they had burned two pitchers in the 9 inning game the night before.   Still, it was just a two or 3 run game until the 5th.  Beaumont got a bases loaded double and the slam to end the game. Here is a summary from the Beaumont Baseball website, for anyone who cares. July 15 - Sounds repetitious but that's exactly what our senior team did again - they roared past Vidor 15 - 4 in five innings of play in the teams 4th run rule victory of the All-Star season.  Alex Soper pitched all five innings allowing only 2 earned runs and got 4 K’s.  Offensively Mike Norris had 2 hits in the 5th including a double and a walk-off grand slam.  Eric Lauher, Brandon Dedominico and Garrett Lockhart each had a hit.    Next game - The team will play for the Sectional championship on Saturday 7/17/10 at 10 AM against the winner of Magnolia & Vidor.  ON TO STATE!! July 14 - With a 15 hit barrage including 4 HR's, our senior league team beat Galena Park 15-5 in the sectionals opener last night at Orwall.  Tyler Ling pitched five innings for the win and Brandon Dedominico and Mike Norris each pitched an inning in relief.  Ty Harrell hit a grand slam HR, Thomas Falgout hit 2 HR’s and Eric Lauher hit a 3-run homer.  Mike Norris was 4 for 4 with a BB, Eric Lauher, Brandon Dedominico, Thomas Falgout, Tyler Ling & Ty Harrell each had two hits and Garrett Lockhart also had a hit.  Next game tonight at 7 at Orwall against Vidor.  A win tonight puts our seniors in the championship game on Saturday at 1 PM against either Vidor, Galena Park or Magnolia.  LET'S GO TEAM!!  ON TO STATE!!
