Most with poor test scores get recruited by large schools, if they are good enough. It's only later when the fall back on Junior Colleges, when thy have no more options. ps---I never said Rhodes wasn't good. I simply stated that Michaels would have huge numbers if he played for a decent 2A(E Chambers) or 3A(Kville) program, so level of competition should have some bearing on post season awards. For some reason, small school supporters disagree with my opinion. It just seems that recruiters feel the same way I do. probably just coincidence :D

Let Rhodes just play 60 snaps on offense and take away the 50 snaps he played on defense and Rhodes would have put up bigger numbers. Put Rhodes on any 5A team or lower and he still puts up huge numbers. All you have to do is look at the college teams that are trying to recruit Michael. That should tell you who is the better back.

Man, North Shore is about the biggest in the state. Look at the size of Allen Surely, they are building new schools.

I don't think that's true at all DV. I, and most of our posters, pull for all of our area kids.

I think it sets pretty good precedent. No matter how good you are, you could miss nearly your entire season. I think the coach made his point. Kudos to him.

The timing is unfortunate, but, he did serve a big suspension for his actions. I think the coach did good AND I'm glad to see him get one last chance to redeem himself(or shoot himself in the foot) whichever it might be. JMO

Nice comment HUM398. thanks. Foul shooting really plagued WB down the stretch. Truth is, we only have a couple of guys who can pressure opponents offensively. I thought we were more athletic than anybody in the district, but, athleticism doesn't equate with points. Both Humble and Kingwood played good D and we usually wound up with a poor shot. Good luck in the playoffs. Let's see if our district can pull off a couple of wins!

All this came up before the Bmt bond issue. I think most Brook fans are happy with their stadium, and the Central stadium is even newer. Big waste of money from my perspective. Give it to the teachers.

Maybe you're right but Aquirre played with Brad Davis, then Derek Harper at the point and Blackman at the two spot. And I recall Barkley backing down players a lot during his career. I guess that's what you call back to the basket> ???

Clear Creek was beating Westbrook something like 12-8 when I left. WB started a freshman (Wilson) who struggled. Svaboda(JR) wasn't real sharp either. Soper(Jr) pitched pretty well, as did Bender. CC's first kid was throwing 90+. Everything else they threw was pretty average. Brook needs Lycan to get back quick.

Thanks for the info. I was wondring if Katy would ever go big school. Almost impossible for them as they are one of the smaller schools in the district.
