There seems to be some general understanding that Brown's dad sat back and did nothing. Parents can't always control their kids behaviour. Maybe he has tried, without success. Please don't put the blame on the dad unless you truly know something that everyone else doesn't.

If they go purely by numbers, without taking into account the level of competition, It looks like Rhodes on offense and Thomas on defense.

Lopez looked great in the first half. 2nd half he forced shots and had too many turnovers. I would guess he had 15 or so.

Big win without Malbrough(sp?) Humble was not very impressive. They have one very good player, but otherwise poor shooting. Maybe just an off night for Humble, but I don't see how they were undefeated.

LCMFreak What are you saying? That you should leave your starters in when the score is 6-0 so you can keep momentum? I would think with your school's athletic history, you would have some sympathy for the underdog. ;D

Newcastle If you are really a coach and can't find a way to keep your team sharp without beating up on weakling teams, maybe you should think about another line of work. I seriously doubt that killing a team that has no skills will really help your team much anyway. JMO

Hmm. You are the only one that I have seen trying to compare Kelly girls soccer to the public school teams. In fact, I saw where Watash said he didn't know how they would stack up, when YOU asked the question. I think you just wanted to bash the Kelly girls for some unknown reason.

Disappointing response here. I don't care if it's district or not, you don't go out and embarrass another team. Some people :

Kelly starts lots of freshman. Why did you think they would be better? The only surprise is that this school with a 2A enrollment and lots of young players has won 2/3 of their games.

I think Humble is a deeper team. WB will have to play really well and keep their starters out of foul trouble if they are gonna have a chance to win.

How big is Lopez anyway? He didn't seem that physical to me. Where would he play?

OK. I'm done beating this dead horse, but, please don't act like your organization has never approached good players from other teams and invited/recruited them to play for the SunDevils. That wouldn't be entirely truthful, would it?

That's silly. Why don't you name 1 kid who didn't get "improve his position" after going through PONY. little league, high school ball or any of the numerous select teams. All kids who play get better. It just happens that you pick the kids with the most upside to work with. Go ahead and list your parents, players, coaches etc. It's not going to prove your point, whatever that might be.

I didn't mean to imply that "all" the best players play for the SunDevils. I just meant that the players that play for them are very good before they get there. I am sure there are many examples of players who get college offers who never had a hitting coach, other than Dad, or a Little League coach or high school coach.

I think the point is, all these kids playing for the Sun Devils were the best players in the area before they ever met the Devil coaching staff. I think Morgan Walker taught many of those kids to hit. Now they have a free place to play and get lots of recognition(great for them), but I don't believe that they got their skills from the Devil organization. Instead, they lend their skills to the organization for a short while, which is great advertising for the coaches there. I applaude the marketing strategy, but these kids were going on to play at the next level, Devil's or not. JMO

I wouldn't mind WB playing Dayton. I think we would put a bunch of points on those guys. We have a much better line than anything Dayton saw all year and we run and pass well. Might be a good game :-\
