You know what is kinda ironic.  You guys say MSNBC is garbage, then you try to talk trash about how low their ratings are.   Maybe, libs are smart enough to avoid biased news.

As an Aggie fan and sports fan in general, this is just disgusting.   These kids had it all in front of them.   How does one make the decision to ruin your entire life over a couple of hundred dollars?

I honestly didnt see the big difference in coverage.  They said Bush was visiting while his approval rating was sinking.  True,  They said Obama was visiting while dealing with the VA scandal.  true.  You see what you want to see, I guess.

It will, like most games , come down to a couple of big plays.   Timely hit here, error there.  Should be fun to watch, and the interest confirms that the 2 schools should play more.   In whatever sport.

I will not like it, but if the ags are losing to top 10 ranked opponents, and taking care of everybody else, a change of coaches wont fix that.  It's no disgrace to get beaten by Bama or LSU.   I would like to think that the Ags can be Auburn like.  Put it all together once every few years and make a run at the title, but if it doesnt happen in the next 3 years, and they go 8-4, 9-3 or 10-2, the Ags would be crazy to make a change.

I agree with most of you.  Anybody comes in my house in the middle of the night, they get shot.   But, we arent talking about that in this case.   Do you give a kid 20 years for a crime where there was no intent to hurt anybody?   That's my issue.    I hate thieves worse than drug dealers, but 20 years is a looong time.

I think I have said before. It doesn't matter who is in office. if you agree, quit trying to blame the current ills on Obama. if the presidency matters, then give him credit. You cant have it both ways.

Look, I am one of the acknowledged libs on this site, but I say cut all benefits by 10%. Today. Keep cutting until I see skinny people pulling out the food stamps(I guess cards now) I don't mean to sound harsh, but there are some very big people using those things.

They dont usually seat alternates unless they expect a long trial.  That way, they have someone available who has heard all the evidence just in case a juror gets sick or something.    Also, they will have more than 12 in the panel.  Some will almost always be stricken for cause.   The attorneys dont have to use peremptory strikes on those.

I just thought the defense threw up enough smoke where the jury wouldnt be able to agree.  I mean, you have the districts attorney testifying for the defense.  Not to mention the whole race thing.
