1. Wow!  Ptching has been awesome.  Surprised at the lack of hitting by this team, but I assume we are facing some pretty stout pitching.
2. Richard has been killing it.  Thanks for the updates.
3.
Pool play schedule Mobile, Al.  Raw Dogs    Thursday at 3pm Columbia Basin, Wa.      Sat at 1pm Cape Cod, Mass.            Sunday at 7pm Fon Du Lac, Wisconsin    Monday at 1pm
Will there be a webcast anywhere?
4. Good luck guys.  Wish we could be there.
5. My suggestion.  Anchor off the northern most reef and fish the water toward the channel.  Unless it's real early or late, the fish will hang in 10 ft of water.
6. Just slow down and use your depth finder.  As you come out of the channel on the cove side, you will time time to stop the boat if you arent going too fast.  it goes from 40  to 15 to 2 ft i pretty quick, but not so fast that you can't see it coming.
7. Ha ha!  Gotta love All-Star time.  Always plenty of pissed off parents.  I coached a couple of All-Star teams.  Much easier to sit back and complain about the coaches.
8.
Where are the games played ?
Nederland High School
9. Are you full up for Sunday?  Might take 3spots
10. I hear WELL won the 9's and they are in the finals of the 10's.
11. What is the cost to go on a trip and how many do you take?
12. If I had no boat, I would get some shrimp and fish the Keith Lake pass in the evening.  You might also try the Texas Bayou bridge down south of Sabine Pass.  Lots of reds and some specks come through there when the water is moving.
13. There are plenty of trout at the jetties right now.  Only problem is you almost have to have live shrimp to catch them.  Just not biting plastics very well.
14. West end redrafts every year.  You just have to hope that the coach who drafts your kid knows what he is doing when it comes to choosing players.
15. Meh.  Who cares how many they have?  10 years from now some kid can tell his own kid that he was an all-district selection.  Good for them.
16. Hey all you right-wing gun nuts.  I just traded for a Walther ppk/s by Interarms,  .380.  Too small for my purposes.  First time pistol owner and I think I got the wrong thing, as I don't plan on carrying it around in my pocket, and the missing skin on my thumb is proof I need something larger.  Anybody got anything they want to trade?
17.

Went fishing today.  Boat wouldn't start.  The end.
Next time try starting the motor.
???  You think I didn't?
18. Went fishing today.  Boat wouldn't start.  The end.
19. Watch out!  KP can hit with power to the opposite field.  They  are solid on offense.  Better score some runs>
20. I went this afternoon and spent time running from rain, but when we fished, it was pretty slow except for the flounder on the shoreline.  Tons of bait in the water from Blue Buck and up further north, but not many trout.  Gonna be really tough after the front comes through.  Think I would go after flounder.
21. I have a short video of hundreds of reds schooling under the lights last night.  If anybody knows how to post it, send me a call number
22. Wset Brook sr Charles Guillory hit his 1st
23. Brook gives up 2 in the 7th and loses 5-4.  Soph Comley started and pitched well. Fleming went 2+ and Roedahl pitched the last.  Another  tough loss.    Guillory hit his first homer of the year.
24. When I was a kid, my Dad worked at a power plant.  The lake used to cool the plant was stocked with tilapia to control vegetation.  In the winter, they crowded up near the discharge to stay warm.  You could literally used a landing net and catch a barrell full of them in minutes.  Back then, nobody would hardly eat them.
25. Tough one last night.  Just can't get hits when we need them.  We outhit LP 9-5, but couldn't put any together.  Roedahl(soph) went 7 giving up only one unearned run.  He may be the best in the area one day.  He is one of the best now.  Lockhart(sr) went 3 scoreless before giving up the winning run in the 11th.  Only RBI was Baldauf(sr), who doubled in a run in the 4th.
