Don't like my "new" boat. 20 ft aluminum cc with 115 Merc 4 stroke. Rides too rough. Great in shallow water with the tunnel hull, but I don't get shallow that often. Going today to look at a 24 1/2 ft SeaChaser. Anybody have any experience with SeaChaser? Made by Carolina Skiff.
I'm free after Sunday and guarantee to not waste anything I catch. 8)
We only kept 2 and it was only because they sucked a rattle trap in so far that we couldn't get it out without killing the fish.
what is that between the row of specks in the pic you posted two days ago?
That was just the largest of the specks. Hard to really tell from the pic, but I believe it was around 24-25"

Can a HS team win State running a 2-QB system?

If you have 2 quarterbacks, that usually means you don't have any. -
that was the only calm spot on Keith Lake. and the fishing sucked too, besides that big boy.
My son and some friends went to Keith Sunday and caught a cooler full of crabs.

Jasper has done a better job keeping all their kids playing than WELL recently. So has BC. It's hard to keep them all playing with the lure of Ford Park just down the road.

Maybe we were casting beyond the river channel and into Louisiana? :P

A couple of you guys had inquired about the boat I am getting ready to sell. It;s a 2000 Alumacraft Phantom 170. .125 aluminum, all welded with side console, 2000 90 Yamaha, on a Magic tilt aluminum trailer. Boat is solid, no problems ever with motor, trailer is A-1. Has 24 volt trolling motor and depth finder. Cosmetically, it's a 6. Carpet is worn in a couple of places and cheap chrome fixtures are corroding. But he boat is solid and reliable and actually has very few hours. Maybe 10 trips per year. going to ask $5,000 for it. If you just need a small fishing rig, it's worth the money. Pics aren't too good, but here they are. [Hidden Content]
I can't wait until some of these kids who were the "recipient" of daddy-ball in LL get up to the high school level and can't figure out why on earth they're sitting the bench since they started their whole lives.
Attention all Liitle leaguers. You will never be good enough to play high school ball. If you have ever played for a little league all-star team, you are automatically disqualified to start for any high school. And I don't want to hear any anecdotal evidence about some little league star who starts for some high school or played in college. it is all lies. That is all. 8)

I might still show up. Smoking baby sounds like he is out, but I might have another partner. -

Why do basketball players feel the need to jump in the stands and beat up fans?
and cover themselves from head to toe with tats. :o
Yet another ignorant response.... ::)...There are 10 times MORE cheaters in baseball than NBA players covered "head to toe" in tattoos...Thats just dumb. ::)
Flopping=cheating. Happens many times each game.
Same reason 6"8 250 lb guys fall down at the slightest contact. They want to get an advantage.

I bought an outfielder's glove yesterday. Looks nice, but haven't had a chance to try it out yet. I think it will be easily worth 60 bucks.

While we are at it, the big field looks better than i can ever remember. Thanks to all who have worked on it these last few years and especially MM for getting a sprinkler system installed in the infield. Makes a big difference. -
hopefully it was a makeup, ...was a real game. what i meant by no umps --they were calling from behind the mound...locked up bathrooms almost killed me i agree, its a big jump for the field sizes, but i think it good for the kids...
Don't drink so many of those cold Cheladas before the game and you might be able to hold it till the game is over. ;D -
My oldest played out there this year and we really enjoyed it. A little more laid back than little league. It was a nice change for us and I think helped prepare him for HS ball more.
i think it is good to get those 2 years working at 60-90. That to me, was the most important thing. Throwing off a 60 ft mound and getting the timing as a batter from that distance. Wins and losses out there were not quite as important as they were in LL. -

Probably a rain out makeup or something. The league has been pretty good.
