That is called discipline! And yes parents should have taught them before they get to thsi level, but how many teams have no respect for the national anthem? I have watched several kids and teams walk and talk during the anthem. Griff is an excellent coach and a great over all person. Honestly, how many coaches have ever worked on the national anthem?

Congrats to Shepherd! We played them earlier in the year and the team and coach were class acts.

Umpires are allowed to make mistakes, but all of the mistakes are not liked. Whatever the umpire says 9 out of 10 cases will stay that way. If the ump cals a ball foul then the ball is foul no matter if it was fair. Same situation here. If the hands went up and the umpire called the dead ball then he should be awarded 1st.

Will not know till Monday night or Maybe even Tuesday.

We played stick ball at the end of the road with all the kids in the neighborhood. The other thing was my Dad set up a tire swing in the back......But we never swung on it. It was a batting tee!LOL We hit against it to see how many times we could spin it and threw balls threw it.
