My guess is either he is not open or he can't catch. If you have seen him play you know that is not the answer! He can and does do both extremely well, my opinion is the qb doesn't see him open, or can't complete the pass to him!

I'm not even from BC, but I have to wonder why they wouldn't throw the ball to an all district receiver?? Rhodes is a great athlete and it would be to the teams advantage to utilize his ability. I agree that the team currently doesn't do that and that's where the problems arise. I don't think anyone is whining, but people are noticing the ball doesn't get thrown to this kid, so someone answer why that is? Who is the JV QB everyone is talking about?

I was at the game until half and I am just wondering why #3 never gets a pass? That kid is open the majority of the time and in the past has made big plays not to mention was the leading receiver last year. In my opinion bc may want to change things up a bit because this doesn't seem to be working

Congrats BC. Has anyone heard if any of the starters weren't playing on offense or haven't made it back since the hurricane?

Cards are winning but little worried about district play. Seems like some of the top players aren't playing or touching the ball. Not sure what the deal is there.

Classy, very classy westend! I wish BC the best of luck I hope things will get back to normal for the kids there and their families! For those of you who read this website I hope you pay no mind to the people who post crap like this person. It has been a hard couple of weeks for this town and even if "westend" thinks he/she is funny I think there are many great athletes at BC these type of comments are not needed - not now or not ever!

And on that same note I think if the coach would not listen the parents they might be much better. I think talent has to recognized and changes have to be made at certain positions regardless of who it might upset - the parents or grandparents or whoever. I personally think it's sad that parents lobby for their kids to play a certain position - let them earn it and work hard for it and one day they can be proud of it.

How does everyone think BC will do this year? will they get all of the issues from last year ironed out and be able to contend?

I am not from BC but was around town when all the campaigning was going on for their school board elections and one board member in particular ran on the quote: We have to get rid of a certain board member and when elected the first thing I will do is see that the baseball coach is gotten rid of" So if anyone thinks this person did not have anything to do with getting rid of the head coach, they are sadly mistaken. Take it for what it's worth. I think it's sad and I wish Billy all of the luck!
