With the scenario that you have setup here LAZEEK, this is where the points stand as of right now between HJ, OF, and BC. BC +10 1 game HJ -3 2 games (finished) OF -7 1 game Doesn't look good for HJ. If Orangefield defeats BC by 14 points to push BC to a -4, it would allow Orangefield to move up to a +7. Looks as though HJ has to defeat either WOS or Silsbee to get in or have BC lose to HF which will not happen. OK, here we go...hopefully it won't come down to this but in case it does.....Let's say that HJ beats HF and loses their last 2 to Silsbee and WOS; OF loses to Silsbee this week and WOS in week 10; BC beats HF and loses to WOS this week..it comes down to the OF/BC game.....Based on the point system, OF would have to beat BC by 9 or more to claim the 3rd spot. A BC win or a loss by less than 9 and BC is in. I know it's too early to start talking if this, then that but it's always fun to think about it....Who knows it may become a toad strangler again some Friday night then everything is out the window.....

Although still somewaht new to HS coaching Coach Landry has done exceptionally well in getting his kids to the next level. Shows how much you pay attention, Coach Landry has been a head coach in this area for atleast the last 8-10 years or so.

How can that happen? Ned. had spring ball and started last week. The earliest that they can scrimmage would be on Saturday.

JMO, but I totally disagree with this statement. With the problem of steroids being a national problem and in the media (professional sports), I feel like that if kids are made aware of this problem early and the "threat" of them being tested is there, they will think twice about doing it. Scale it back, maybe; totally get rid of it, NO. Even if a handfull of kids test positive and they are "caught" at an early age, their life may be saved in the long run.

I believe the head coach from Tarkington, Chris Wiggins, will be the new head baseball coach at Crosby. Good coach, knows the game.

I guess these 2 will have a Sumo competition for the job next year as Vansa moves to HJ. ;D What is DV going to be doing at HJ? He's a quality coach and a great person.

Big loss in Kelly, also lost their best pitcher in Colby Jenkins (Soph) going down with Jommy John. Yes, Kelly came on strong in district last year to be one of their leaders; Losing Jenkins hurts also; Coach Trawhon will have a good group to build around though, they can probably hit with anyone in the district...

Think they will be the team to beat in 21-3A next year. Now, Now, Circle...you know the Cardinals are the top dog until someone knocks them off 8) I do expect some good battles during district next year...Silsbee lost 1 senior as well, they will be a year older next year...

Put in hours in the wt. room, track, 7 on 7?.....Sounds like your asking kids to go straight football? How about we let each kid choose what he wants to do and get behind them when their sport of choice rolls around and be happy with whatever happens. I enjoy winning as much as the next person, but allow each sport to be treated fair and be put on the same playing field as the other...Which sports at OF have been to the playoffs in the last 3 years? It's time that the coaches of those sports know that their sport is just as important....
