Umpires, You Make the Call on this Play

What is even more disturbing is that on the 2nd video (angle from CF) you can see the Needville coach telling her player with the ball to throw it home because she missed the plate. Are you freaking kidding me?!?!? Still wondering what the umpire was looking at. -
Umpires, You Make the Call on this Play

What amazes me is everyone in the stadium sees these types of plays except for the one who is actually supposed to be watching. At the beginning of the year we are told what is allowable and what is not, yet it seems these situations come up all the time and nothing seems to happen to the player who instigated the contact. -
chad Landry or Bryan Spell would be a great choice

Cody was the head freshman football coach. I will just leave it at that. anyone that is familiar with Nederland knows that you need to be strong in both football and baseball
-
Whoever gets the baseball job will have to have a strong football background.

Having not seen the news, can someone tell me whether or not this is for 'athletic' purposes??? We all know that WOS is DBU, Defensive Back University.
Shaw has indeed enrolled at WO-S. The reason has not been determined. No word on if Center AD Goodwin signed off on Shaw or not but I am pretty certain he did. If that is the case (and I believe that to be) Shaw will have to sit out 15 days before he can suit up for the Mustangs. That would have him missing at least the first 2-3 games and maybe even the 4th game. If Goodwin did not sign off on Shaw (highly unlikely since Goodwin is a former WO-S coach, probably doesn't want to hinder Shaw's high school career and the transfer had nothing to do with athletics) then Shaw would have to play JV ball this year and play varsity next season since he is just a junior.
Not true, if he enrolls before the 6th day of school and all paperwork is complete, you ate eligible immediately. You only have to sit out 15days if you enroll after the 6th day of class. I think Rhoades is only 10,000, not sure though...... Good location for it. The land is there and that spot is about as center of the district as you can get..... Not like cy fair or Conroe where schools are so far apart from a stadium. Figured this was coming, just didn't know when.
Could it be the coach that had the #1 ranked team in 3a all year long?
Probably so, of the interviewees he would seem like the most logical choice. -
Falls City sure is a long way away! I wonder if there are any schools closer to home that he would consider say within 10 miles or so that went 3 rounds deep in football, 3 rounds deep in basketball, and currently 4 rounds deep in baseball and not graduating many senior starters.. Wonder if there is such a place?????????? ;)
Not sure where you got your information, but yes they went to the state semi finals in football, 2 rounds deep in basketball, but didn't even make the playoffs in baseball
-
May be just a rumor for now, but saw on another website where his dad got a job in Falls City.

Even if he stays in Hemphill, don't look for him to play football anyway.

Correct me if I'm wrong. Saturday is the last day of the week. There is a limit on total games a player can play throughout the season. That total is based upon how many tournaments the player is active in as well.
last day of the week is friday when school is released. A student does only have a limited number of games he can play throughout the season... and can play only one game during the school week (monday-friday ending after school is released) unless it is a make up game or for tournament..... so he could play one game tuesday but play both JV/Varsity on Friday or Saterday
Hitman with all due respect, you are incorrect. A player has a certain amount of games he can play, based on number of tournaments he participates in (a single game does not count as a tournament). He may participate 1 day during the school week (1st day of class to the release of the last day class is in session that week). He may participate in both the jv and varsity game on Tuesday because they are on the same day, however it counts as 2 games for that individual. The only exception to the 1 day per school week rule is in fact a makeup game.
