TD, I know that you are not on here talking about a coach from WOS not living up to expectations after you have thrown a fit like a 8 year old little girl when people were getting on the OC. You can't have it both ways!! HYPOCRITE!!! I think it's more about discipline and accountability. When WOS was good and we were good for alot of years, it wasn't all talent. Just like WOS in football and LCM in baseball. They are held accountable for their actions. They are both fundamentally sound. The opposite has been true recently in WOS baseball and LCM football. That being said I do realize that you have to have some talent. I'm not being a hypocrite. I didn't put down a coach. I said in years past we learned more fundamentals and were more disciplined. How in the world is that being a hypocrite. Did you see me call for anyones job? Do you see me putting down a coach? You hide behind your screen name and throw stones.

I disagree with that. Until resently they either haven't been teaching fundamentals or they weren't learning them. We have never been the biggest or the best but we have very often (at least during the 80's and 90's) been the best prepared team. We were fundamentally sound. Everyone bought into the idea that everyone had a place to be on every play and we got there. That hasn't happened in years. They are headed in the right direction with fundamentals now.

There is something that we can both hope for.

LCM is exactly what I thought they were going to be. That group of kids will be fun to watch for the next two years for sure. I wasn't there long but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by WOS. I agree with espn2, they are a far cry from where we were. However, we are far removed from where we were just a few years ago and are headed in the right direction. Good job to Coach Rivers and Coach Rojas and all of the coaches that are trying to put this program back together. Keep working on the fundamentals. And as always a good job by Coach Griff and his staff.

Silsbee was at WO-S in 2007! What's up with being there again in 2008? The Uil resets the home and home series after realignment. I believe my 3 years of varsity, we played LCM twice at home in a row. And Nederland Twice away in a row. It just depends how the draw goes. Coaches draw for home and home at the district meeting! UIL has nothing to do with the where you play just who you play. Are you sure???
