There is NOTHING for WOCCISD to investigate.
I am not sure I understand what you mean by "they knew when it needed to be addressed"? I was understood that Cornell only found out about it last week. If you say "they knew", well shouldn't this been addressed even before two-a-days? But, I would think whoever found this would not hesitate to tell Cornell so that he could address this as quickly as possible. Can't imagine "they" would wait till the week of the regular season to "spring" this on Coach Thompson. BTW, school staff are at work during two-a-days, just not students.
::)
Putting our little rolling the eyes thing on here doesn't change the facts. I'm confused as what you are digging for?
Just looking for some clarity. The article, along with some comments made here, just bring up some questions. I personally believe it had more to do with the parents and student side of it than the administration.
As long as the school did the right thing why are you concerned with what the parents did? Is it going to change anything at all? Will it make you feel better? I guess I just don't have that need to know. My concern is and was that the school did the right thing. That happened.
 8. Good luck with your investigation. Lucky for me I get to watch some 7th grade football practice at WOS.

I'm hoping we will avoid rain on Friday.  I know we need help to get out of this drought, but only for the sake of the game I wish this.  A wet field will give an edge to FW.  It's harder to play speed football in those conditions.
Good thing Coop didn't say anything like that Griff.A certain poster on here would jump on that and say Coop was already making excuses. ;D
Speaking of Coop, where has he been?
 12.
Td....playing pony/select rules.
Thanks. Someone in my office has a son that is 9 and playing and she wasn't sure.
 13. Can someone tell me what rules they are playing by? Little league or pony/select? I'm asking about the minor league level.
 14.
Posting on both threads: Ok, my take on the game: Ned is still having problems containing the edges of the LOS against fast teams. - The DBs need to get off of the blocks and close down. WOS' defense is still as tough as usual. Ned need to work on the punt game . WOS needs to bring Kicker out of retirement for PATs.  Although the guy did well on kickoffs. Ned showed alot of heart in not giving up when the game looked like it was out of hand. If WOS cleans up the penalties they will be fine.  BTW, it looked like the DB pushed the WR out of bounds on that catch.  It would still be a reception in that case. Lindsey(Sp?) for WOS is a slippery little RB and disappears behind the line.
I think that rule was changed and you now have to come down inbounds. That is what a coach told me. I'm sure that if I'm wrong that it wont take someone on here long to correct me.  ;D No excuses. Nederland played 4 quarters and beat us.
 15.
iH-F, CO Wilson is looking for a a game Sept 13th since WOS back out of the game for some reason. If H-F as good as I hear, we need a challenge. Call or middle school coaches
Do your homework before just running your mouth.
 16.
Congrats Ned! Hold your head up Stangs, you played well. There is going to be a bunch of complaining about some calls, I can guarantee, but the bottom line is when we had Ned 3rd and 11 on their own 30. We hit the fullback in the backfield by 2 players but we don't wrap up and he bounces off and goes for 40 yards, then you are leaving it to fate. If we make that tackle, the game is over. Hard to believe we lost that one.
Great post. We had our chances to close out the game and didn't get it done. Congrats to Nederland. Mustangs will be ok. Great game played by both teams.
 17. We will be holding tryouts for our 13U team September 11 at 2:00 at the WOS high school field
 18. I thought we had a game on that date? I see Silsbee is looking for a game earlier in September. Maybe we should secure that game if we have lost one.  Just a thought!
 19. When completed the whole project is going to be very nice. Concessions and bathrooms upgraded. It's been a long time coming regardless of what some people think.
 20.
Be nice...you would think WOCCISD would've taken care of this years ago...
We can't go backwards, we can only push forward. Thanks to the people that live in our district we passed a bond when many others weren't able to. The track should have the concrete poured for the first home game. Then we have 3 away games and that is when they are supposed to pour the track. This will give the track time to cure before we have to be back on it. Lets remember to stay positive. WOCCISD is taking steps to put the right people in the right places. We didn't get in this situation in just a year. It took probably 20 years to get us to this point. We are headed in the right direction but please don't expect things to be corrected fully overnight when as I said it took 20 years to get to this point. Thanks
 21. We will hold tryouts for 9-14's and 8's if we have enough interest.
 22. I have had some inquiries about tryouts. We will be scheduling them in a week or so. Please watch this message board and we will also post them on our website www.gulfcoaststorm.net. Thanks to all who have been checking on tryouts. I look forward to seeing you soon. Tony Dallas Gulf Coast Baseball
 23. Congrats to all of the young men.
 24.
Bridge City wins by 7.
I will take a piece of that for sure. BC and Mennard should think they have a chance. If they don't believe it then it will never happen. Mennard is a great competitor. He proved that last year as he just kept picking himself up.
 25. After what I saw yesterday I would say that Lumberton is the team to beat.
