*BREAKING NEWS/LCM with possible ineligible player*
td replied to AggiesAreWe's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
W, LC-M does not become open campus until January.
I believe that is a moot point. LCM has opened their enrollment to anyone from any district. Doesn't matter where you live, if you want to go to LCM you can. And if a kid played at WOS last year, the proper documents were signed by all coaches involved. I hate that someone is starting something like this.

Then only if you want to pay to go there. -

As long as it doesn't get out of hand, discussion should be allowed. I try to keep everything positive (not reflected by my negative karma), but you can't control everything. I was just curious, and appreciate your reply.
No problem Chester.......I really don't look at Karma. I understand your a Peace Officer.........I appreciate what you do. Loking forward to some discussions
Hippy, you gotta watch Chester, he's watching you. ;D

Thats not even comparable! It will be the blowout im predicting, just wait and see!
Where was that so called speed on defense last year when the Stangs played the Tigers :o :o :o :o :o :o
The speed changes every year. Maybe you weren't aware?

I agree. I think what he was able to do throwing the ball made a big difference. Ford and the other backs were as advertised. Yall came into the game and all I heard was how yall couldn't throw the ball. Great job proving those people wrong.

No doubt about that. No worries hippy. Just being a homer. Haven't seen either team play. I do know a little about #4 though and he and the boys from WOS have a good little team. -

No doubt. Good luck to both teams the rest of the season. I hope we get another chance at Kville.
Most fans see it this way and my hats off to those that call it that way. I was glad to see WOS play with so much deisre last night. I knew they would but it made me proud to be in that staduim for the biggest game (in magnitude) of the year for our area. Great turnout also. Almost had the old stadium filled to capacity. I have to admit that the tribute to Reggie on their first play gave me a few chills.
Chills to say the least. What a class move by Kville to decline the penalty. I'm not sure very many people knew that was coming. I know I didn't.

As a Mustang fan, I hope I missed us not publicly thanking everyone in the surrounding communities and the communities across the State. I stood near the gate watching the people come in. We had fans from many other schools. If we didn't thank yall please allow me to do it now. Although I'm not affiliated with the school I am a member of the community. I would like to thank each and every person that has given money, time, thoughts and prayers or anything else that I may have failed to mention. I'm not sure that words can explain how those things have helped all of us start the healing process. It will be a long process but the surrounding schools and communities and people across the State and the Nation have helped us move in the right direction. Thank you so much. On a different note, the scholarship fund that I started at Orange Savings Bank (account #1349075) has had people deposit money into it and I have no idea who they are or where they are from. Whoever you are thank you very much. I appreciate what you are doing and so will the recipients of the scholarships. Also a big thanks to Signature Signs and Printing for the hard work on the t-shirts and stickers that they have generously donated. Tony Dallas

Although it will probably cost me Karma I am going to go ahead and say what I want to say and let the cards fall where they may. Wos fans were great, Players showed alot of heart and played a good game. I was suprised we did not catch a penalty on the TD catch but the ref was right there and he did not call it. There was alot of holding that never got called and that laderal was dropped so once again the reffs made mistakes on both sides of the ball. Now heres where I stick my hand in the wasp nest. As much respect those boys (on both sides) and LCM and all of the fans showed. Dan Hooks and all of the coaching staff at WOS should be embarrassed by their behavior. One coach actually ran on the field jumped up and down and through his clip board down. They were on the field screaming most of the game. He would have been ejected from most any other field in the area. His team showed sportsman ship and control where him and his staff did not. There were calls I am sure he did not like and the same for the Cats. IMO he showed very poor judgment on how to handle things when your not happy with how they are going. Smite me if you want but I think the bad Karma should go on Hooks.
You would have been on the field to if you would have been hosed that bad.
Oh come on Coop! Are you serious? There were bad calls on both sides of the ball all night. On one WOS scoring drive there was a blatant tackle by their RT on the Kville DE. The problem is you can't admit that WOS got beat by a better team last night! Ok take the long TD pass that should've been an offensive pass interference (I admit it) and Kirbyville still wins the ball game. Give credit where credit is due if you have the class that you say you have! ::)
I can admit it. Kville was the best team last night. No doubt. Good luck to both teams the rest of the season. I hope we get another chance at Kville.

The bracelets are in. You can come by my office and buy them if you would like or pm me. My office is at 1106 16th in Orange. I only have the blue ones and the silver ones, however I will have white tomorrow. I just forgot to grab a package of them. The bracelets are similar to the "Livestrong" bracelets. The cost is $1 each. Thanks Tony Dallas

questions about the Garrett stickers
td replied to Mr. Buddy Garrity's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
can i stick these on the inside of my back car window or only on the outside of it?
The way they are set up they go on the outside. You peel of the one part and the sticker stays attached to the other. Once you get it where you want it use a credit card or something similar as a squeegee to take out any bubbles. Bubbles are not very likely on such a small sticker but one never knows. It also helps is stick to the glass. Clean and dry the glass first. -
Best Team In The Junior Division

Well... who was it and what was the score?
WOS and Silsbee. WOS won
It was not that close. It was not a battle of two competitive teams. This year Lonestar may have more talent in the Jr Division. I know that in the past Deweyville SRs have been able to beat the STJFL champions, but as a general rule (evidence by last year's Jr game in Silsbee), the STJFL teams are stonger.
I know I'm a "girl" (read MOM) but comparing Lonestar Jr teams against STJFL Jr teams is just crazy. The weight limits are so completely different that the two are not comparable. So, you think that STJFL 120 lb 10 year olds can out block our 85 lb 10 year olds??? Really? Wow. No kidding. I would hope so (i.e. WOS v. Silsbee Maroon post season game last year). Now, our 120 lb 10 yr olds in Lonestar have to play on our Sr teams. So, if you wanna compare our Sr team to your Jr teams, that may be a more fair comparison. You can't compare apples to oranges. None of it makes any sense. In Lonestar, Jr. Division is 8 & 9 with very few 10 year olds because they have to weigh 85 or under. STJFL Jr. teams are 9 & 10 year olds. I would hope most STJFL Jr. teams are stronger. I mean, if you are gonna compare them, why not compare the 7 year old tackle team to our 7 year old flag team & see who you think would come out on top of THAT game!! lol Y'all are such MEN! ;) ;) I know...I should stay off the site...I do try, but y'all keep DRAGGING me in!! !! ;)
I was just answering a question about a game played last year against Silsbee. FYI, Silsbee brought in some bigger kids that weren't on that team. It was something that was agreed to before the game. -
All Around Better League, TIFI, Lonestar, STJFL??
td replied to Betrayed's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
We have played against the Lonestar Champs last year. Played STJFL for several years. Now playing Pop Warner. As far as talent goes, there are talented kids in all of the associations. Kids are kids and talent is where you find it. A big part in youth football is coaching and teaching also. As far as talent goes, I don't think you can say it's better in one or the other. Maybe we can have a big playoff after the season for all of the local teams that win in each association. -
Thanks for the stickers TD!! 8)
Thanks for what you do. It was the least I could do. I hope you enjoy them and use them as motivation as we are trying to do here.
I hope the kids at LC-M wil be there and give the support that this team needs! WO-S showed what happen when you stand behind each other. Ialso hope there is a lot of green and gold in the stands with the parents.
I hope so see alot of green and gold also but since the game is on Saturday, I would love to see many school colors in the stands. They have all been there for us so far. This would be icing on the cake.
