Win or lose I just hope all of the kids get out of the game what they need to continue to move forward. Of course I would love to see the Mustangs win. However, watching them play hard and smart at this point will be what I'm looking for at this point. Mustang Nation has a long way to go but in the end we will be alright. It was a great letter. A very long letter. A letter that had some thought put into it for the players sake. It's not just him though. I talked to coach yesterday and he was telling me that Lovie Smith from the Chicago Bears called him.

Please tell me someone has pictures of the Bears and Mustangs together. So sorry I missed that. My daughter (a WOS cheerleader) came home after the game excited as can be. She wouldn't stop talking.

Get your Growl on. Big ups to the Bears for allowing the Mustangs to lead them out and then having the players and the Cheerleaders, Coaches and Fillies out with them on the sidelines. What class. As it should be. Would be great to have the Bears with us next Saturday. I wonder if that will happen?

[/quote] Not being a high school coach but dealing with alot of kids coaching every youth sport imaginable, I will take the opposite approach. What a wonderful time to be a coach. What a great time to be a big part of a kids life. You can definately make a difference in their future. The coaches I know from college all the way down through the guys like me that just volunteer to work with our youth, do it to help mold a young boy into a young man. There is no better reward to a coach than seeing that young boy turn into a good young man.

There has been enough people that love the shirt that Signature Sign and Printing made that I feel I need to take orders for the shirt. If you would like one of these shirts you can come by my office and order them. I will turn in the final order by 4 pm on Tuesday. You will need to pay when you order. I will pick the shirts up either Thursday afternoon or Friday morning. The shirts will then be available for pickup at my office. Obviously this will only be convenient for people in the Orange area. I hope that no one forgets what the Jasper players went through last week. Those guys showed great character. That being said, you could probably now say that almost every team in Southeast Texas has shown great respect. Good luck to both teams and enjoy the game and the effort that the boys give on the field. td
