I know that WOS has to have that first game back at some point and I am sure #12 himself would want them to get right back to it. But from Kirbyville's perspective how can there be any thought of winning this game? How can there be any thought of not giving it 112% and trying to win? WOS was the game I looked most forward to hoping to finaly get a clear win. Now I dont know how to feel. If WOS is not ready and we beat them what would that win mean to us? If we do not respect them and give it all we got what does that win to them? If WOS gives it their all under the circumstance and come up short what does it mean to either team? The only happy ending if you can call it that is for WOS to give it their all and wins a hard fought game in OT like last year. I have to root for the 'Cats but for now can't root against WOS.
I really understand and respect your post. If Kville is WOS next opponent the game will not be played with the same rival intensity but will be played more so with respect. You should also know Kville or whoever is next, no matter who wins or what the score is, you will have helped WOS on their slow road to recovery. You will be a benefit to them.
Absolutely. It would be a disservice to our kids if Kville didn't give it their all. I know they will and that will be a great way of respecting our program and Reggie and his teammates.
Question, I would like to get a sticker to put on the back of my truck and install vehicles. I want it to be the logo that I and alot of other people have as their avatars. Its the flying WOS with the number 12 on top. can someone help me? If anyone knows of a sign company, I will get them to make it and buy some for people.
I just went and ordered a few 112% stickers for vehicles. Only ordered a few to give to my daughter and her friends. Let me know if you want one.

I'm not sure if they can do it or not but I would try them. If they can you are helping in two ways.

Thanks so much from the bottom of my heart for supporting the WOS Family and especially the Garrett family. 112%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I agree. There are alot of programs that need to be thinked for their thoughts and prayers. It just shows how SETX comes together.

Speaking of that the Jasper Coaches and players showed more class and respect than I have ever seen shown by any team. People in Jasper should be extremely proud of the coaches and players. I know as a WOS fan I am very proud of those boys and men. Thank you for the way you consoled the Mustangs after the game. I can honestly say that the Jasper Bulldogs gained at least one fan Friday night by the way they handled themselves.
My thoughts exactly.
I posted about this on another thread, being on the field and seeing it first hand, the Jasper Team and Coaches looked just as hurt as we were. It showed me tremendous class from Jasper when they were hugging our kids. They too were truly shocked, I could see it in their eyes after the game. I knew when the Jasper fans and coaches found out, their band stoped playing and their whole sideline just went silent. Very classy Jasper. Ive always been a fan of yalls, but now even more.
I called and talked to the Super at Jasper this morning and thanked them for how they consoled our players and coaches. He was appreciative of the phone call and wanted to know if Jasper could do anything to help the healing. I told them they did all they could have posssibly done on Friday night. -
Im trying to get things done here at the office this morning, but cant seem to focus. I still dont know what to say or do. I understand life goes on, but its very hard to get back in a rythym. I cant imagine what the players and classmates are doing right now. I hope they can perservere and bounce back.
Most of them met alot over the weekend. I think that helped but it's still a difficult time for all of them, all of us for that matter. Alot of tears were shead and a little laughter. They have extra counselers at school this morning and I hope the kids take advantage of them. Not sure if you have been to the field since Friday night or not but just being there seems to give you a little peace. We took the boys there yesterday and it definatley brought out questions. Which is a good thing. Answers were the hard part.

It will definitely be an emotional night.
The wins and losses just don't seem to be as important as before. Enjoying and appreciating the effort given by the boys from both teams seems to be way more important. I just want our boys to go out and play hard. If we win we win if we lose we lose.

I will get more information on an endowment on Monday. I just want everyone to know that it will take a considerable amount of money to do an endowment. So if you or your family want to give, please do. If you can give $5 then give that. the amount is not what is most important. Giving to something you believe in is. Thanks in advance td
As far as Nederland goes I'm going to the booster club meetring tomorrow night to suggest #12 stickers for our boys helmets. And to all NHS fans: let's pull together and all wear 112% on our shirts or bring signs with 112% on it. Pass this along to as many people as you can through text, email, or facebook. Let's show the Garrett family how much Nederland and our community support them. What an awesome idea this topic was!
Our youth team wore the 12 stickers this week. I'm going to have 112% stickers made this week for them. Just got back from taking my boys to the stadium. People were coming and going the whole time we were there. I just think we really don't know what to do but the field gives us some comfort. Thanks to the school for unlocking it and giving us access.

Thanks grad. I will respond to every email that is sent. The email is my work email so it might be Monday before I respond. Thanks in advance to all of those who wish to be a part of this. td

I can't begin to know the pain the family is going through, the teammates and coaches.Prayers and may God be with you at this time.
I feel you Gun... I thought that I would wake up this morning and I would feel better... I don't. Gonna take a while my friend.
Gas, J Simar and I are going to start a scholarship fund. We have some ideas but I think it would be good to get you involved. If nothing else I will fund it for this year myself. I would like for it to be more than that and we have a plan. What do you think? Like I said I will make it happen this year for sure.
SO ARE THEY THE BEST TEAM IN THE STJFL AND LONESTAR LEAGUE TOO???
Just an opinion but probably so. After it is all over they can always play to find out. Thats what we did last year. -
Let me say thanks to the Jasper coaches and players. They showed so much class and compassion to our coaches and mostly to our players. This is a very difficult time for the players and the entire student body. I hope we have counseling available for these kids next week. The Mustang family lost a family member tonight and we will never forget. Thanks to everyone for your thoughts and prayers. I'm sure the family appreciates it and I know the student body and the community does. td
As an unbiased observer I have to point out that the officiating was not as bad as some people on here are saying. There was a couple of questionable calls (both ways) but it did not change the outcome in my opinion. The interference call in the fourth quarter on WOS was definitely interference. The ball was in the air and the defender made contact, pushed, whatever you want to call it, the receiver. It did look like there should have been one or two seconds left on the clock after the last play. The worst thing about this whole game was when that official got knocked out and the WOS fans were applauding. That was inexcusable. And it wasn't just one or two people in front of me.
Well I hope you aren't trying to say it was everyone because we certainly weren't and I couldn't hear applauding from where I was sitting.
the WAR ROOM here in west oange has been very besy. your QB holds the key to this game he is very good and smart kid we all know this .as for your RB he likes to run behind your big OL and he is not slow :).now back to your QB like i said SMART,if he has no one open he starts looking someplace to run behind your big OL,if he cant run he likes to dump it off to the short man SMART move.
That's pure genius right there.
I would love for our teams over here to play in Sulphur, but it's hard locating when tournaments are. I've been to the USSSA website and it doesn't show alot of the tournaments in Sulphur and Lake Charles?
My experience has been that those guys won't post who is coming. therefore, you don't know if you are going to a tournament that has 10 teams or 2 teams. Personally, I'm not interested in which teams, just the fact that I won't be playing a round robin with 2 other teams.
It is not unusual for the Tigers to lose every scrimmage and pre-season game and still win district and go 1 or 2 deep in the play-off so I not sweating this so called loss..... ;) Silsbee has always been slow out of the gate
Really? How many times have they lost every scrimmage and every pre-season game and still won district?
