  1. What happened to Silsbee? I saw the scrimmage against LCM but that was just a scrimmage. Giving up 49 has to be a concern.
  2. He is a good football player and a good kid. Calling him a one man show is a bit of an exaggeration. Kinda like calling the Titanic a little boat.
  3. Congrats to the Bears on a well played game. Now we or at least I can start pulling for you to win each week. I thought LCM had a few players stand out, 10,11, and 2 for sure. 3 came in the game late, if I'm not mistaken they said it was Casey Burleigh, my guess is that young man will get more playing time. For WOS, I thought 43 Lindsey and 18 Roberts were the most impressive. Roberts looked to be as fast as anyone we have as far as speed in pads go. Anyway, it was a good game and glad my Mustangs came out on top. Also glad to see that Coach has LCM headed in the right direction.
  4. Isn't it Trey Franks and isn't he Oklahoma bound?
  5. Next year is the year!!!! This year is as good as any and we may never have MORE speed than we do now. We will always be fast. You can go look in the 6th grade and WOS has a monster there along with a beast on the line. Look in the 5th grade and you have the exact same thing.
  6. ;D Been awake...just low profile. :-X Always out there lurking, aren't you?
  7. Until you hear it from Dan Hooks I wouldn't read too much into it. That being said Vidor always plays us tough, especially at their place. I also have never seen a team that WOS or Dan Hooks was afraid to play.
  8. : : this is the most dumbest post I have read in awhile. You are probably aren't even from Vidor. the people from Vidor are not like this guy at ALL..He has 5 posts..get real man..All you are doing is stirring the pot.. We think we have a good team with alot of experience..We like our chances this year and that's it.. No predictions,no guarantees, just alot of excitement..That's it.. If you want to stir the pot ,stir it with your own school.. This post may be the best post in a while. Vidor should be excited and proud. No one knows who would win in a real game and only jerry really cares. I agree with you piratefan, sounds like someone is trying to continue stirring the pot. Good luck to Vidor. Go Stangs!
  9. Then yall should have no problem with them when yall meet up with them in district. td, That's youth talking. Just put the paddle down and slowly walk away. Easy...easy...that's it. ;D ;D You're probably right. I am as excited about the progress that LCM is making as anyone. I wouldn't want to be giving any bulletin board material to WOS.
  10. I'm not on the STJFL board but I have been on many board that are affiliated with youth sports. It's a goal. If you have 35 kids, in one division that's too many for one team and not enough for two teams. That's something they can't control. From what I've seen STJFL does try and get enough kids so that all can play. I just used those numbers as an example. I think STJFL has a maximum number of kids that can be on one team. I'm not sure what it is but I would think that you could find it on their website. Again it is a goal of theirs just as we set goals in our own lives. We nor STJFL or any other organization always reaches their goals.
  11. Then yall should have no problem with them when yall meet up with them in district.
  12. Trying to find a seat on the visitors side at LCM.
  13. ;D
  14. 21 is still not 31. LCM is not Nederland. Like I said, do it and I will be the first to congratulate you.
  15. Thanks to all of the players and parents that showed up for the Gulf Coast Storm's tryouts yesterday. We look forward to another good turnout on September 13.
  16. If LCM scores 31 on a Cornell Thompson defense I will be the first to congratulate them win or lose. Scoring that many points would be a victory in itself.
  17. WOS white over BC 35-6
  18. Just because you score alot doesn't mean you were trying to run up the score. What do you expect them to do? Hand the ball off and tell the kid not to run the ball? If that happened to a WOS team and it has and did to a Sr. team last year. The WOS people would be more concerned about the fact that we couldn't stop them. At some point the team getting beat needs to step up the defense. The 28 points ahead rule is supposed to keep games from getting out of hand. If a team can't stop the 2nd and 3rd team offense I don't know what you want the offense to do? Some of those kids will never get to run the ball again.
  19. Ok you didn't reply so I guess we don't have a deal. Good luck to both teams.
  20. This was meant for you bigdog. This is what I didn't get a response to. ;D Ahhh, well if you want to bet with Monopoly money your on!! Only if Monopoly money will help buy a server. ;D

  24. It's a shame that we have to put our disclaimer on our picks. That being said should I ever need one I know who to call. ;D
  25. Gulf Coast Storm would like to announce that Jeremy Green will not be coaching our 12U team in 2010. After consideration of the time allocation required, Jeremy has decided to continue his focus on individual instruction and will serve in an advisory capacity to the organization. Grand Slam is the home of the Storm organization and we are proud of our affiliation with the instructors at that facility. The Storm Organization is committed to finding high caliber coaches who have a commitment to each of our teams and to the development of all players on that team. We are evaluating candidates currently and expect to announce our new coach in the next two weeks. Thanks Gulf Coast Baseball
