You can say what you want about the yards per carry. It was so much better than last year. They could have gotten outscored and I still would have been very impressed with them. Rome wasn't built in a day just as LCM's football program won't be rebuilt in a season. Let's all be proud of the steps that are being taken in the right direction. The kids demeanor on the sidelines is so much better and it all starts with your attitude. They believe they can play and that's a start. Again Congrats to all the boys putting in the work and to Coach. Trust in what you are being told and you will continue to get better.

I agree with AAW, it is 180 degrees from the Bears of last year. You could just see the difference in the way the kids handled themselves. Congrats to the Bears. Regardless of what their record is at the end of the year, Coach Crouch has them headed in the right direction. Good job Coach.

who is geting most of the carries? For who, Silsbee or LCM? sorry, lcm? Don't know, did not have a roster for LCM. The LCM people told me it was Tevin Jones!

Being a WOS fan, I can tell you that all you can do is beat the guys that they put in front of you. Vidor did that end of story. Congrats Vidor and good luck.

The first thing I would say is if you read our website you can read what we are about. You can read what we will teach and what we expect from our coaches, parents and players. Secondly that is a quote at the bottom of my screen name that is meant for fun. I don't mind it being there. I never hide behind a screen name and what I do is out in the open. Our organization is about teaching and when that is done the winning will come. By the way the quote does not say if you lose you are a loser. It does not say if you don't win you are a loser either. "the group that is running it"......I have viewed the website and can't find any information regarding who is involved. Would like to know this information before bringing my child out to the try-outs. BBDad, if you know names please share them or give me a contact to get more information. My name is Tony Dallas and myself and a couple of other guys will be running the organization. We will have a Board of Directors also. We did break away from GTB. Jeremy Green will coach the 12's. Jeremy has helped coach in the prospect league and has given lessons at Grand Slam in Orange for several years. We will be putting short but informative bio's on our coaches on our website. We anticipate playing in the Elite division. We are putting something together that will explain the fee schedule and what is included. For example, we will include pitching clinics and fielding clinics. Stay tuned to the website and if anyone would like to tryout remember you can preregister on the website under the "Contact Us" page.

I'm not sure, but if you are going to be a smart--s then at least learn to spell. I wish you would stop making WOS fans look the way you are making us look. We don't need that kind of representation. Thanks td for speaking out against this guy. I personally know that not all WOS fans are like that. He deliberately misspells our team name for twisted fun. I'm not so sure he is misspelling on purpose.

Our GM went to the schoolboard meeting after notifying them he wanted to speak at the meeting. They said sure. Well, he sat through the whole meeting and when it was his turn to address the board, they said meeting adjourned. They didn't want to hear what he had to say and ended the meeting. Everyone else got to speak but him. I guess its a socialist schoolboard. ha ha If they had my $600 I wouldn't go away that easily.

He is not going to stop posting stupid stuff on this site, and it does not seem to matter who talks to him. Keep standing your ground and don't let spev stop you from posting good things about our Tigers. We tiger fans have always giving WOS their respect. I was with James Haynes Sunday, as you know, and I complimented him and the mustangs for their accomplishments. It goes without saying, Dan Hooks is probably one of the top three head coaches in the state. He certainly is arguably the best in the area. guys. There are also plenty of Mustang fans that recognize the accomplishments of Silsbee and the talent that they have. Please don't lump all Mustang fans together. Gulf Coast Baseball will be having tryouts on Sunday August 30th and September 13th. The 9 and 10-'s will tryout from 2:00 to 4:00 and the 11 and 12's will tryout from 4:00 to 6:00.
