We have 9U practice today ??? ??? DVR is your best friend...just make sure you have your cell turned off...because if you have friends like I do they will try and ruin it for you. I turn everything off and dont read any texts when I DVR anything. I actually canceleld our practice today..wings and beer tonight! Save your money and have your practice...I can tell you the outcome of the game tonight and tommorrow...LSU SWEEPS. Coleman tonight with Renaudo tommorrow. Are you as sure about that as you were about sending those boys from third? I couldn't help myself I had to say it. ;D

Maybe Texas really isn't that good. ;D Being good enough to be in the World Series finals is pretty good. I think this is the dream match up for alot of people. Both schools have great programs. I hope the game is everything it's built up to be.

In the spirit of sportsmanship, I think we should go ahead and play the game,even if it's not in our best interest. ;D

I don't play too much golf anymore, too busy with my boys and teenage daughter. Thanks for the compliment but that day has past and now ll I have is to watch and teach my children and that's not too bad.

Skipper, you are asking the wrong person when you ask me. I'm a fan of the game and a fan of the Mustangs. Not a teacher of the game or a coach that has enough knowledge to do anything other than encourage kids. Baseball is and was my game. That being said, I would just like for them to turn around at some point and not face guard. It seems we don't know when the ball is coming.

I think that problem is being worked on with a "new" coach that's coming.

Skipper, if you know what the Mustangs have to do to win a State Championship, why don't you just tell us instead of making us guess. I'm sure every team in the land would want to hire you as a consultant. I will be your agent. ;D

You know, I pull for Texas and have not said one thing against LSU, but our fans are arrogant? All the trash talkling is against Texas. Go figure. If you don't think Texas fans are arrogant, then you have been living under a rock. And I have never said that LSU fans aren't arrogant...we are to an extent. I just don't think Texas is very good this year. You have to be pretty good to make it to the CWS. Who woke you up??? In comparison to the teams that are in the CWS (ASU, NC, LSU, Ark, Virginia...they are not very good). They are (in my opinion the 6th or 7th best team in Omaha). You will see what I am talking about tonight. So, if they lose then they aren't the best team there? I didn't know the best team always won!! In Tournament format (especially double elim.) the best team usually wins. In your opinion where would you rank Texas against these teams? I'm not near the expert that some of you are. I haven't seen all of these teams play enough to rank them. I'm just saying that they have a pretty good team. I don't know if they are the best team there or not. Time will tell. The Super handed out special awards at the athletic banquet just for basketball. Let me rephrase that, he made up special awards but didn't come and had them handed out in his honor. Nothing for baseball, softball or track. I do think there was one for the kicker on the football team. Nothing ever seems to make sense. It's always skewed one way or the other. I would just like for something to make common sense from our district. Just one thing.

I listened to that broadcast of that game and that's exactly what went down, according to Stelly. Hypolite had plenty of time and made accurate passes, but he can't catch it for them. I would rather have good speed and sure handed recievers than have great speed but stone handed ones. I think you'll see the Roberts kid be the better reciever over Franks and Haynes. Not this year.

I think the answer is he likes basketball, therefore, he wanted to pick the coach. We can agree that it's a good thing when an alum comes home.

Isn't it common practice for the AD to hire coaches for all sports? If so, why is it that our Superintendant hired a coach without involving our AD?

I actually have a job and have to work sometimes. It's sad but true and I try to keep it to a minimum. 8)
