  1. Congrats Shon! You even have fans outside of the LCM community that are proud of you. ;D
  2. On the days that the pass doesn't work I hope yall don't come on here wanting to know why we have abandoned the run. You got what you wanted now I hope he gets a chance to do his job his way.
  3. I'm sure he has "heard" about it if it's happening.
  4. Congrats to the entire Mustang track team and the Coaches.
  5. I saw signs out that say it's time to sign up to play football. Hopefully someone affiliated with the program will come on and tell us where the sign-ups are. I think the sign said it was this weekend and next.
  6. I tried to find a way to say this to make it not sound ugly and I couldn't. So just know that I don't mean it that way. If that's how you feel then you should make up your own team. Gary obviously has his own opinion.
  7. Congrats. It was pleasure watching these guys play this year. Good luck.
  8. That about sums it up.
  9. My guess is you have no idea who is on or off the couch. The people on this board are off the couch. You cant make other adults be responsible their ship has sailed.
  10. I know how they did... just messing around. ;D You thought I was from somewhere that didn't make the playoffs, didn't you?
  11. Sorry I thought you just wanted to listen to the games this weekend? I don't think Gary archives the games. Are you wanting to listen to the game he against Buda?
  12. WTB, 15 years ago you could have said Dayton was the worst job in SE Texas. Dayton has nice facilities, good pay for its coaches, and the support of the community and administrators because of what Coach Stewart did for that program. Dayton has had some great players the last few years, but there were some seasons under Stewart where the talent was pretty thin and they still made the playoffs. On average I don't think Dayton has been any more or less talented than they were before Stewart, just better coaching. I'll agree Dayton's current district isn't as strong as 22-4a but it's not like Dayton didn't dominate that district also. In 22-4a Dayton was 11-2 (both losses by one point). Averaged 37 points a game and gave up just over 5 points a game. Minor correction 13-1 (only loss to L-town) Thanks for the correction Dayton, I alomost broke my typing finger trying in the rush to correct it. 2006 Sept.29th**Lumberton (HC) W55-7 Oct. 6th ** Beaumont Ozen W48-6 Oct. 13th**Vidor W42-7 Oct. 20th** LCM W35-0 Oct. 27th**Bmt Central W21-20 Nov. 3rd **Nederland W35-7 Nov. 10th**PNG W33-2 2007 Sept.28th**Lumberton L7-8 Oct. 5th** Bmt Ozen(HC) W33-0 Oct. 12th**Vidor W40-0 Oct. 19th** LCM W49-13 Oct. 26th**Bmt Central W20-0 Nov. 2rd **Nederland W63-0 Nov. 9th **PNG W40-7 What about pre-district games? we were 2-4 with losses each year to friendswood (lost because it was too sunny outside both years) and WOS beat us because of the Refs and the weather. ;D How'd you guys do in the playoffs those years?? ;D I don't remember but I'm sure someone could tell you. I'm not a stats guy just a fan. I always enjoy watching Dayton and WOS. Anyone out there know the answer to how WOS did in the playoffs in 2006 and 2007? However, while you were going 13-1 in district, (which is very good) we were going undefeated in district. ;D ;D

  14. I noticed you put salary as one of the strengths of PNG and Nederland. I'm just curious, what is the difference in salary in your top 5. I don't know what WOS' is or any other for that matter.
  15. Well it helps to know the common sense rules too. You know try not to make the first or third out at third etc.. Other than that knowing the rules puts you at least ahead of most league coaches. ;D
  16. I think it should be rotated too. From offense to defense.
  17. I'm glad you put in the part about 8 warm up pitches. I catch flack about enforceing that sometimes but there is a reason. Also when it says 8, that doesn't mean you can go up in front of the mound and throw then get on the rubber and take 8. You get 8 take them any way you want. I was listening to the game on the net last night and when I heard what he was doing i started laughing because I knew he had called and ask about that exact thing. Didn't talk to me but I was called and told about it. Actually I owe Griff a thank you because until I looked it up, I was not totally aware of everything about that. The once per inning was new to me but it was right there in the rule book when I looked it up. Every year something comes up that makes us dig ever so more deeper into the rule book. It's probably not a coincidence that all good coaches know the rules better than the other coaches. ;D
  18. If your stats are correct (and I'm sure they are) it looks like the Bears win every other time they play and since they won the last time the two played in 2006 then it's the Bears turn to win. Good luck
  19. She caught a ride with Buda. ;D
  20. It's amazing how you have to keep up with the rules changing as they do. I also didn't know that there were no longer protest in high school baseball.
  21. I never once questioned Griff. I asked for MrUmp so he could give us the ruling. I seriously doubt Griff is going to come on here and give us the explanation. Yall relax. No one is doubting the coach.
  22. I don't know what the rule is on that. I thought that only the starting pitcher could re-enter but that was what I thought the rule was from years ago. I'm not up on the rules and I feel sure Coach knew the rule before he made the move. Congrats to the Bears. Where is MrUmp when you need him?
  23. No doubt about it! There is not another broadcaster who could have done a better job than Gary tonight. He is the man. Gabe, do you know what the protest was about? Did it have anything to do with who Mason was running for when he scored the tieing run?
