You're not wrong, I think you just don't get what they are saying. Nothing would have changed except the date. In other words the Sr. white team would still have had an away homecoming but it would have been played a couple of weeks ago if not for the storm. That's why the complaints about the scheduling.

Yet it doesn't stop you from talking smack.

I think that from the jump everyone wanted to annoint the White Team as the team to beat because the kids played together before.1)they played 1 year of pee wee together. 1st year in pads was last year. There are several kids on this team that have never played football,or have not played with this team. Several kids on the blue team have played on The Junior level before.That is a huge factor. The size difference and to an extent the speed difference between these two divisions is a definite step up. And not only does the blue team have that experience factor,but those players are above average to great players. No one with any football sense or common sense should have EVER thought this Junior Blue Team would not be really good. I know the Head Coach has always said if he could get his line blocking they would be great,and due to his skills he has that offense clicking. He has 4 0r 5 of the top athletes in the entire Junior division,and one of them would be a top player in the SR. Division if he had moved up. So lets not play with one anothers intelligence. Both of these teams were favorites from jump! If either wins the BOWL it should shock no one.Im going on a limb to say.....When WO-S White and WO-S Blue square off in the BOWL on DEC. 13 it will be so wild i wouldnt miss it for the world. Its all about those kids.And although im partial to the white jerseys I got nothin but love for the boys in blue!! The jerseys may be different, But the helmet is the same!!!!! Amen! The name on the front of the jersey is the same too. That's the name we play for. That's why we don't have names on the back of our jerseys.

The sign looks good. The lettering is off just a little on one panel but you can't really tell from the stands. It will be fixed after the season but it will have to do for now. Hopefully we can fix the lettering when we update the playoff dates on the sign. It's alot better than what we have had for well over a year now. And it didn't cost the school district a dime.

What time and where are we meeting for the parade?

Hey TD; i think what he was talking about is our team has a lot of "first timers"; kids who are playing league football for the first time. Shoot, my kid never even played football in the park on weekends! and okay; I've heard mention of "the Beast" but I'm not sure who you are talking about. I left off someone that should have probably been first on the list of "thank you's" Therez Sichko. This project would have never gotten off of the ground had it not been for her. The sign is being put back together as we speak. It was delivered this morning and maintenance will have it together for the pep rally tonight. A special thanks to Britt Nichols at Tool Tech Machining and Sheet Metal, Vin at Vin's paint and body in Mid County, Sandra at SignWorks in Mid County and to Brent Norwood. If I left someone off of this list please forgive me and let me know because you deserve the credit not the school. I will be out to look at the sign shortly and hopefully everything matches up. These people worked on very short notice and either free or at a reduced cost. Thanks again to any and everyone that had a hand in getting back together what the WOS school board and Superintendent should have put back together over a year ago. Our kids have been bitten in two different games (peewee). Both times it was on the arm. I asked how and then he showed me how the kid did it. His arm was under the face mask.

I wish I could have been there to see that. All of the players coaches and both communities should be very proud, not only of the two young men that were able to score but proud of themselves as well. There was a great lesson taught on that field that had absolutely nothing to do with football. What a great story. Thanks for sharing it.

If we were winning state championships year after year then maybe. We haven't won a state championship in 3A yet. It just wouldn't make sense.
